I heard that Mac took Friday off to go to Vegas to celebrate his Birthday, is this true? If so, Happy Birthday Mac. I hope lady luck was smiling on you at the tables.

I don't know about Friday, but he said something about spending time in the penalty box again. Must've let a bad thought through...

Needing rest to attend a future concert? Where you serious when you typed that or joking...I hope. Going to Vegas or in the penalty box. Is this man..'Mac' for real? Instead of wasting time questioning yet again this persons agenda and why you guys support and enable him I hope he goes away, his undeserved ratings crash, and your foolish man crush for what this broadcast, where there never is a week that all three of these people do all five shows together, is realized as the joke that it is. Trust me you and this McNeil guy will attack back; Dan will blubber also that he is concerned about the shows direction, say critical things about his partners, and try to sell you guys that he is doing all he can to make his show better. You guys will buy it and side with him. but...he hardly ever is there, does not care about you, and relishes more getting time off than servicing his customers.

Are you suggesting he (or anyone for that matter) is not deserving of time off? Whatever the stated reason? Do you look forward to getting a day off? I would only guess you don't hold yourself to the ridiculous standards you show here.

Maybe from now on Mac should just state he has "the day off" without giving any explanations so people don't overdramatize things. God forbid anyone not approve of the activities/reasons for taking a day or a vacation.

I've never seen a group of people so obsessed with speculating about why someone else took time off from their job. Why does it matter where Mac went, what he did, or the reason for his absence? And isn't it nice to see xstyle back with his same old nonsense attacking Mac for taking days off. xstyle, several of us here have a pretty good idea who you are. If we are right, then considering you work at wmvp, it does seem a bit strange that you continue to take out your hostilities toward a co-worker on a message board. If you have such a problem with Mac, why don't you say something to him face to face? You see him every day. It's obvious xstyle that you were not skillful enough to negotiate yourself nearly as much time off as Mac. Most of us who have been working many years in our careers like Mac get 4 or more weeks of vacation each year. If you don't, then it's your own damn fault for not getting yourself a better deal.

X-style+ Score is Doomed= Match or sperated at birth...Get on this one KEEping Score.

He gets vacation time. He takes it. It's no big deal. Why would you not take every last one of your vacation days? Jeez.

My tongue was firmly planted in cheek.

Hopefully Mac was energized for the show, as my industry insiders indicate UFO Phil Mogg was in dire need of an adrenaline shot ala Pulp Fiction. The Brit singer from UFO has the physical build of Mick Jagger, with the energy of Brian Jones.

I think the real reason people care why Mac is off is the radio we have to listen too when he's gone. Like the e-mail contest that was done what women would do for a guy so he could go to the manniversarty. If we got better radio, then it wouldn't matter when he's gone.

I thought he took vacation time last week, at least thats what I thought I heard Carmine say at least twice. When he's in the penalty box, its usually just "Mac (or whoever) is out today" and they don't tell you why or for how long.

Miss a little....who is 'xstyle' thought to be?

Some of you take far too much interest in the lives of certain radio hosts.
Brush your tongues and use some Listerine. That should get the taste out of your mouth.

The ONLY reason for the post, was that Mac had said he was taking off on Wednesday and Thursday, but would be back on Friday. Obviously, he altered his plans. I had been told it was Mac's birthday on Friday and that was the reason he was off, as he went to Vegas to celebrate it. If that information was correct, I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday. But it looks like that info was wrong.

You must of been confused with Doug from Evergreen Park.I gave Doug some real bad advice on some hockey bets Friday as he called me from the sports book in Vegas. Last I heard it was so bad he was playing the pay phones.

Hope you had fun and came home a winner. I hit Harrahs for $4,000 on Video poker again on Saturday. Video poker is the game to play at any Casino as it seems to pay out more than any other game. For those of you board at work this site is a blast and has the same games at the casino.I have a system that seems to be working.

I wish I could be but the wife is dragging me up to Paw Paw, Michigan for the weekend to visit our friends cottage.I get to do some fishing and watch the draft up there. I think fantasy draft guru Brian Sawa might be up in Michigan at cottage as well.
