Invent basic law? That's a pretty terrible attempt at a dig.

It's also hilarious that an afternoon show proudly and openly talked NBA basketball all the time, and ltg literally refused to listen to it because it wasn't good enough for him and yet he goes on this insane rant about how important it should be to radio shows. If you were really that mad about Dan McNeil ignoring basketball then why not support the guys who went down on a sinking ship largely talking NBA basketball?

In 2017, the CBB championship game averaged 23 million viewers on cable. Game 5 of the NBA finals averaged 24.5 on ABC. It averaged 20.5 million for the series. That's not a big difference when you talk about cable vs network coverage. When CBB was still on CBS it was beating most NBA Finals games. Anyways, the larger point is that college basketball isn't that important that NFL coverage should be shelved for it even if the NFL is in the off-season.

However, this year I'm sure the NBA Finals will beat the CBB title game but this was an all-time low for CBB given how lopsided the title game was and also it being on cable.

Also, I demand NO NBA posts from ltg after the Warriors have their parade up until the opening of training camp. Not one.

Remember the time they spent half an hour of local radio talking about a series between the Jazz and the Clippers? I'm not doing a Julie 3/4 riff, I'm actually asking whether you remember how much time they spent discussing Utah basketball in Chicago.

I always associated relativity to Einstein. I think of Newton as gravity and calculus. But these guys were geniuses, and their work spans many disciplines.

 They should teach a class in journalism school on "How to not do a horrible job programming to your audience" with this show being the first half of it and the second half being a year long radio journey through Pennsylvania pedophilia.

Did you just select this article because it put Newton and Einstein in the same sentence with "relativity", and you thought it would show how Newton was actually the forerunner of general relativity?

Quote:
In the 17th century, Isaac Newton developed a set of equations that described the physical properties of the world around us. These equations were very successful, from a description of the flight of a cannonball, to the motion of the planets.

They also had a very appealing property: all observers, regardless of whether they are moving or not – i.e. regardless of which “inertial frame” they are in – are equivalent when it comes to their description of the world around them. So two individuals moving in different directions would see events unfold in the same way.

The part in bold is literally the antithesis of relativistic motion. Whichever university gave you any kind of degree should lose its accreditation. My God are you an insufferable fool.

Newton had nothing to do with relativity. His Newtonian Mechanics posits the exact opposite of Relativity (all observers see motion the same way, regardless of inertial reference frame).

LTG just didn't read his source material, again.

I will always remember where I was when Dan teased a Utah Jazz beat guy coming on the show to discuss Jazz-Clippers Quarterfinals action.

W&S talk a lot of Bulls. They talk very little national NBA. Outside of Wilbon on their show once a week (who sucks), they will have a guest on and there who talks national NBA, but that very rarely happens outside of the playoffs.

Yet W&S do a weekly hit with Peter King year round. Hmmm.....

This frankly all goes back to the obsessing by some over Louis Farrakhan. It is very telling that those who were willing to disavow him so to speak also don't like the most popular sport in urban centers. There is evidence that Abraham Lincoln would not of liked the NBA either. The proverbial message board police will never admit that. Hell they won't even acknowledge it.

Time is not absolute nor constant, that's, like, the central tenet of modern relativity! It even has an equation that produces something literally called the time-dilation coefficient!

I don't need an academic tutorial on the theory. I'm not interested. You falsely stated that he wasn't associated with the theory and it is obvious that he was.

Move on from the discussion "Lying Notes"

I associated him with the theory on relativity. That is it. I said nothing else regarding it. You stated that he wasn't associated with it all and I was completely wrong for asserting it. Each time that you search relativity then why does he name happen to appear if he has Nothing to do with it? Juice's lying notes doesn't appear in any of the searches conducted. Shouldn't it be if it is all relative?
