This is how you get to the "LeBron has no one" level. You just say things like this.

Doesn't LeBron make his teammates better?

lebron has a team that has 7 guys who put up over 9 pts a game this season. scoring isn't everything but he's got 3 good rebounders, decent defenders, a handful of 3pt specialists. this lebron has noone stuff is absurd in my opinion.

I wouldn't say he has "no one", but without him, this team probably wins 20 games. He has some players that compliment him well, specifically 3-point shooters who would be ineffective without him.

in the west maybe. not in the east. the hawks won 24 games and they have NOBODY.

cleveland's squad isn't great but its not a "nobody" in my opinion.

His team sucks.
the teammmates that he handpicked are bad ?

He didn't handpick everyone. He didn't trade for a.gimp PG or trade that gimp for a player who can't even get off the bench in the finals. That being said he still elevated everyone to get to where they are.

Didnt they have a really good player who hit the shot that won them the title? What happened to that guy?

I said he was good. My main point is that he's not enough when you look at the competition. Jordan wouldn't beat GS with this roster.

You'll have to ask him. Three straight years to the finals after not doing shit in the league until LBJ rescued him from irrelevance. That's a fact.

I'm certainly not going to blame LeBron for losing to the Warriors. However, I'm not ready to treat him like a God because he beat the Celtics in 7 games without their two best players and before that a team that is lead by DeMar Derozan.

I forgot about your LeBron stanhood.

LeBron needs a guy to hit the big shot. Wade, Allen, Kyrie.....George Hill though....not that guy.

GS could be the greatest dynasty ever assembled in the next handful of years but that said, the 1st three championships the Bulls won, Jordan's squads weren't all that great.

You haven't watched this year's playoffs. He hit a game winning shot in each round I believe. He's that man at the moment. Your take is outdated.

Teams get better playing with Lebron but individual players don't. He is the basketball equivalent of a sole mike controller. He is the only one on the team that is really allowed to ever make a play. There is no way for guys like Clarkson or even Rodney Hood to get better playing with him. They are guys that look to create their own shot which isn't allowed on a Lebron team unless you are Wade or Irving. That is why the IT experiment was doomed to fail too. That is why Dion Waiters was traded. Guys that look to create their own shot are persona non grata with him. It is why Love has been relegated to nothing more than a spot up shooter during the time he has been there. He only really wants to play with Spot up shooters.

Token all star this year. I agree on Boston. Don't agree on Toronto. Toronto was nine games.better than Cleveland this year and the best team in the east. LBJ swept them. Dominant.

I sort of agree with this, but I also think it probably gives them the best chance to win. 8 straight Conference Finals agrees. And Wade did pretty well with Lebron.

Yeah he undoubtedly makes teams better. Sometimes I wonder if his teams would be better if he played off the ball more on the wing but 8 straight finals is 8 straight finals.

That series against G.S. two years ago changed once he began deferring to Kyrie Irving. Lebron dominated the ball the first two games but once he began to share the ball more that series changed. It is hard to do that with this roster but if he leaves and finds a better roster he might have to do that. Plus he is getting older.

Chris Bosh sure looked better whenever he didn't have to play with Lebron James. He said it is difficult to play with him.

You criticize LBJ for his play in the finals without acknowledging that the only reason the team is in the finals is because of LBJ. Fact. What is the common denominator between all east teams that went to the finals during the past 8 years? Not Wade. Not Irving. Not Bosh. Not Love.

Source?

And anyway Chris Bosh can go back to Toronto and put up 24 and 12 and play a round or two in the playoffs before being eliminated. No one will care. You want a shot at success then you hook up with LBJ.

Probably smarter to go to Golden State.

The thing about him just wanting to play with spot up shooters makes sense. That way he can score on some plays and dish on others and always get the oooh's and ahhh's either way.

Yep. Playing with Cleveland on NBA 2K is awesome. Drive and score or drive and dish.

You've got some prejudice then. You're working backwards from your central point (LBJ isn't all that) instead of looking at the data objectively and going where it takes you. If the conference is so weak then why is James the only link between all 8 east finalists?

That is why Dion Waiters was traded. Guys that look to create their own shot are persona non grata with him. It is why Love has been relegated to nothing more than a spot up shooter during the time he has been there. He only really wants to play with Spot up shooters.

I sort of agree with this, but I also think it probably gives them the best chance to win. 8 straight Conference Finals agrees. And Wade did pretty well with Lebron.

That's the thing - it works. That's why everything LTG said in his post is absurd.

Chris Bosh sure looked better whenever he didn't have to play with Lebron James. He said it is difficult to play with him.

I'm sure it's difficult to be a star with him because he's just better than anyone else. You won't get as many touches.

The thing about him just wanting to play with spot up shooters makes sense. That way he can score on some plays and dish on others and always get the oooh's and ahhh's either way.

One of his teammates sort of alluded to that this season ironically. They said that he only passes when he can get an assist from it. Criticized him for holding the ball too long. Stated that Lebron would hold the ball for the purpose of padding his assist totals. Teammate did it anonymously of course.

You've got some prejudice then. You're working backwards from your central point (LBJ isn't all that) instead of looking at the data objectively and going where it takes you. If the conference is so weak then why is James the only link between all 8 east finalists?

Because he's the best player in the league in the weaker conference?

I dont hate on LBJ as much as I used to so we cant have this fight. Im sorry.

Parity/mediocrity of the other teams.

The teammate then blamed James for the pain the teammate felt every time he adjusted the championship ring on his finger.

Well, one of his best teammates almost died and had to retire from basketball.

The other one declined far more but still has the same number of rings.

His best teammate in Cleveland got injured this year along with another star and that team still took them to a Game 7.

The two biggest plays of that championship winning game were Love's defense and Kyrie's shot.
