Didn't you recently mock others for making snap judgments based on one game?

I did. And that’s fair to point out.

This isn’t one game though. He already has a hell of a resume. I, like others, have just had a tendency to forget how great he is now that Durant is there.

Steph Curry is rarely the best player in any series that he is involved in. Hard to place in the top 30 with that being the case.

It’s also worth mentioning that these aren’t easy looks. The lazy narrative would be to say of course he goes off because he’s surrounded by great players. But they were paying attention to him a lot in the second half and he still just hit outrageous shit. When he’s on he’s unguardable and swings games.

When the Warriors win this Steph will have as many rings as the King  He has changed the way the game is played...and that is huge. I have seen 2 players change the way the game has been played Kareem and Curry. I've heard players comparisons he's the next Kareem...he's the next MJ....he's the next Curry....I haven't heard he's the next James  ...I'm no LTG or FF :D

We have a Dolph Schayes sighting! I was looking at basketball reference and checking out Karl Malone's page. Malone's number 1 comp by similarities score is Lerbon James. I clicked over to Lebron to see his comps, and Dolph is the number 10 comp to LBJ.

Pretty sure you could give him Dave Bing's spot.

I'd give him Dolph's spot to spite JORR.

Lundgren was weak from beyond the arc. That keeps him out of the top 50 IMO.

Something is wrong with you if you don't have Jordan ahead of the other 4 on that list. No explanation necessary.

Serious case of Millenial-itis.

If all five players played at the same time at the top of their powers, MJ and Lebron are probably the two most impacting players on the game's outcome. All of these guys played on excellent teams in their careers. Watching this group play with one of their good teams in a 7 game playoff would be a hoot. It would have to be Lebron's later years in Cleveland imo because MJ would have mentally owned Lebron in big game situations earlier in his career.

absolutely destroys the five best bench players in the NBA currently. It would likely be a 40+ point blowout.

West would be Steve Kerr. Sam Jones wouldn't make it out of the D league. Wilt, Baylor, and Oscar would still be a handful. 40 point blowout? Not a chance.

Sam Jones would be Dwayne Wade today and West would be Damian Lillard except with great defense.

I played HS ball in the late '70's. Have you seen a a high school game the last 2 decades? A Public league team would wax 63 Loyola. I've watched film of the Celtics- Lakers series. West could shoot the lights out but he had no moves. Just look at the dribbling skills alone. It's pathetic compared to today.

Because anyone who saw Jordan play over the extent of his career knows that this argument is a complete joke.

There is only one Alpha, one GOAT, and his name is Michael Jeffery Jordan.

Its not an exaggeration. This is not like the Walter Payton argument. He was, and is, The Very Best basketball player of all time, and one of the best competitors in any pursuit in all of history.
