Time off related to his father's death and the mess with the insurance company mentioned elsewhere on this board, maybe? Or another Murph-vs.-producer meltdown?

Well, it's funny because over the last few months I've heard the many Score evening hosts say that Cy is their producer. I heard Paruch mention his name a week or so ago when he did an evening show.

I just thought he was producing 2 shows sometimes. I didn't know he was off the Murph show.

Uh, oh. Murph and another producer had a parting of the ways? What the hell did he do--forget to play the rimshot when Murph said the Buffalo wings are flyin' off the shelf at Browns?

You're making me nervous, you're insinuating that Murph was holding young Cy up to a high caliber - for a low caliber show I might add - while the elder Cy was dying, then died. If true, call the newspapers, I'd love to see Murph ripped a new one.

As much as I like reading juicy insider stories on Score happenings, I sure hope to not find out about a Murph/Score vs Cy feud, especially at this time. Cy, your family is in my prayers.

You all know as well as I do.....Cy will speak for himself if he wishes to.

Keep in mind, this is a guy who is still dealing with the death of his dad....give him the time he needs.

We understand Rock.

Can you just tell us if he still is or will produce the Murph show.

That doesn't seem like it's a matter of national security.

You don't have to tell us the reasons.

The Score's web site no longer has a picture of Cy on it's personality page. I remember he was on this page as Murph's EP.

If you notice, nobody is listed as Murph's Executive Producer on this page. Who's producing his show? I guess they don't want to list him on the Score page since Murph goes through them so fast.

I guess Cy will be a fill in producer, weekend producer, or do the rare evening shows when the Sox don't play. Like I said, I've heard his name on some of those evening shows. Maybe he did quit cuz there is no full time gig now. Rock, is he still at the Score?

WSCR is telling Feder that Cy hasn't produced Murph in 6 months - WTF?

Panther - I can remember hearing producer Cy around the holidays, so 6 months isn't right but he could have been doing it more recently than that.

I'm all for conspiracy theories but maybe he just needed to take the time away because he wanted to spend his dad's last few days with him. He wouldn't be the first to walk away from work when their parent was dying.

You know nothing about the incident Panther. Settle down and do some fact finding if you really care

Ask yourself: Was your first instinct after reading Rocks' posts that he walked away from the job?

To be honest, I didn't see Rock's posts til now. Now reading them, yes I agree with you.

As an added footnote since I know many of us are suspicious of email claims - and they can all be forged - but this is the WSCR response to Robert Feder (courtesy of a mole) and he didn't say if it was from Agase or Rosen:
"Cy has not produced Murph's show for 6 months. He had been working nights. He resigned last week."

Everyone cares - He's our homey. Feder is doing the fact-finding. Plus, I would say that plenty of facts have been uncovered thus far.

You are a lawyer. Lay out what is fact, and only what is fact, and see if you can convince me of your conclusion.

Unscrupulous claims and uninformed conclusions have been the trademark of this board since inception. Facts? This would be a boring place if everything said was based solely on facts.

Here is what I don't get. Early in this thread Panther posted a Feder article. He acted like it would shed light on this. The article said nothing about Cy.

Then, he keeps on talking about e mails to Feder from the Score and how Feder is working on this.

Is Feder really working on a story about a producer's departure?

Not that we know of, so again, here's what WSCR told Feder:
"Cy has not produced Murph's show for 6 months. He had been working nights. He resigned last week."

I just don't get why Feder is so concerened about a producer. That's all.

Were you told about this as Radioray or Javier Delgado? Or Nostrodamus? or Shirley P Macmahon - the female spmack?
