Beyond his enormous offensive talent Durant is needed for rebounding and defense. Golden State is not a particularly large team in their front court and their lack of size was exploited somewhat in game 1. Durant with his size and length can do a good job of grabbing defensive rebounds and guarding the rim.

Dead serious, but let's do this in another thread. I think it's obvious that the Cavs would suffer if you traded LBJ for Curry straight up.

They're so fucked. LeBron should have never went to Miami. It made it ok for other super teams to form and now it's biting his ass. If he stayed with cleaveland he would have attracted better players by now and other teams wouldn't have colluded against him as bad.
