That's what makes him the GOAT and what Lebron and others are missing.

You're my guy, Juiced, but come on. This is a perfect example of these arguments that are beyond parody. No one here played on the team with Jordan or Lebron. We have no idea the impact they had on their teammates. By all accounts, Pippen was the guy who helped his teammates out and helped them improve. Jordan just bullied them. And that might have worked well, but Lebron gets shit when people don't like him! When Jordan is a dick = alpha. When Lebron is a dick = bad teammate.

You have to admit the video looks bad.

According to Pippen and many others Jordan helped out too, and helped them improve as a team. I think he needed to grow into it over time, but there are plenty of interviews out there with former teammates talking about it. I think Phil Jackson is pretty well documented on how Jordan needed to grow in that role, and did.

Lebron has his own issues with teammates away from the cameras, Kyrie comes to mind for example. But it's also obvious Lebron makes his team and teammates better too. You can't be the best player in the world and have the massive success both of them have had without it imo.

LeBron makes everyone around him better but has to do everything himself because his teammates suck so much. It's a good thing George Hill doesn't play for the Magic; down there he might not even know how to put on his shoes.

That video is something. Lebron is not a leader..he never has been.

Yes JR did something really stupid, but as the leader of the team you gotta get them ready to win this game in OT.

Korver and Green seem to be showing more leadership qualities than anyone else.

Lebron James stars in "Hot Tub Time Machine 3".

When ppl learn I"m from chicago , especially these la faker asshole fans, they ask me about MJ bulls beating this or that team.

Yes, they would have killed the Shaq Kobe Lakers. And these Warrior teams.

BUT, they would not have beat the 86 Celts or many of the late 80s lakers.

Then they look at me like cool, you a knowledgeable fan.

Even if he could, he'd have to deal with a prime 'Uncle Drew', so
it's most likely another L for Lebron

Which reminds me.. can spell 'Lebron' without the 'L' lmao

I will say thanks to Lebron for winning a couple years ago otherwise this would be 4 straight titles for Golden State.

Lmao.

Those 90's Bulls teams included some of the best teams to ever play the game. I'd take the Bulls over those teams too with the quickness and not lose much sleep over it.

Jordan had it easier in the finals. Check out the graph at the link below then read the text.

https://fansided.com/2018/06/04/nylon-c ... -the-east/

Quote:
As explained in the notes in the graphic, the two wind rose diagrams each map to Michael Jordan’s and LeBron James’ postseason runs, respectively. The blue wedges represent their playoff VORP during those campaigns, with the pink wedge representing their best teammate’s playoff VORP, and the dark wedge representing their second-best teammate. Two things immediately stand out. For starters, LeBron’s wind rose diagram has a lot of blue, showing not just how superlative his postseason play has been, but also how much his teammates have largely struggled to measure up to that standard during that time. On the flip side, MJ actually had two Finals runs, in 1996 and 1998, where Scottie Pippen posted a better VORP than he did. By VORP alone, this has been James’ most productive postseason, recording an astounding 3.4 VORP with games still left to play (for comparison, Jordan’s best playoff VORP was 2.8, though it should be noted that it was in 17 games, while James has already played 19). His best two teammates have been Larry Nance Jr. (0.5) and the aforementioned sharpshooter Kyle Korver (0.4). In terms of LeBron’s ability to do more with less, this run often gets compared to 2007. However, while his teammates may have been slightly worse, LeBron was nowhere near the peak of his powers yet; as such the disparity between him and the top talent around him wasn’t quite as wide. While James did get to enjoy playing with prime Dwyane Wade for a couple of years in Miami (the reduction in size of the pink wedges year by year from 2011 to 2014 show how sharply Wade aged), for the most part, he hasn’t had the benefit of teammates capable of consistently lifting him on the NBA’s biggest stages. So, the next time LeBron James’ finals record comes up, the reaction should not be one of scorn or derision. Instead, we may be better served appreciating that James could at once play both King and Kingmaker and make such a record possible at all.

Utter garbage. Let's appreciate how impressive LeBron's 6 Finals losses are!

This is what happens when people dive too deep into the numbers at the expense of watching what actually happens on the court.

I didn't say "let's appreciate how impressive LeBron's 6 Finals losses are!." Look at the teammates thing - it's a valid variable when comparing Jordan's record vs Lebron's.
