Klay isn't going anywhere. He's in the absolute perfect situation where the team's style of play and the talent around him caters to his game perfectly.

If he extends this summer he loses out on a potential $86 million next summer.

If there's ever a time where a guy will forgo the opportunity to make more money to stay in a perfect situation it is Klay in 2018.

I would slap my own mother for turning down $86 million.

We'll see what ultimately happens but I don't think he's leaving this team. His status in the league will plummet.

He's not leaving the GSW. They'll find a way to keep this core of Steph, KD, Klay and Draymond together.

They were $38 million over the salary cap this season.

Durant will be getting paid more if he resigns.

Steph's contract increases each year.

Klay is gone if Durant stays.

Tonight he seemed to relish it all more than I ever recall. Happier than the other two ceremonies. Another title next year and who knows.

No they won’t. Klay’s not turning down $86 extra million nor will Golden State pay $550 million in luxury tax the next 4 seasons.

By status I mean he'll never have the spotlight like he currently does and in all likelihood he'll never be regarded in the same manner as he has been in the last four seasons. He's almost universally regarded as one of the top 3 or 4 two guards in the league along with Jimmy, Derozan and Harden, winning aids his reputation tremendously. If he were to jump ship his situation could never be as flawless as being the 2nd/3rd cog in the warriors machine.

ya he will make tons of money and on a bad team he will be their best player but he won't be in the same spotlight ever again.

Absolutely no other player in the league would fault him or his status for turning down $86 million.

He's an afterthought on this team.

I'd love to see him on another contender.

He's on one of the transcendent teams in sports history. No matter where he goes he'll make an enormous amount of money that will set his family up for life.

Even I gotta admit the Sportcenter post game emphasis on Lebron is pretty disrespectful to the Warriors.

I never said that. What I said was Korver, going back to his days with the Bulls, continues to do nothing when the chips are down. His game 4? 0 for 11 with 2 points.

Curry makes more than lebron and the cavs have a higher payroll. The cavs are full of players making lots of bad money being represented by lebrons agent friend.

Hill smith and Thomas were all around 18-20 million.

***correction smith only makes 13.5. Forgot Love is making 24
