I've done some reading about the 16 year old from Cuba, Delgado. He looks like a man child. 6'3" 210#. Looks like all of a sudden, the White Sox look like they are going to have a crop of infielders who can pound the baseball. Madrigal, Moncada, Delgado, Abreu(if he stays). I think that the future for Anderson has got to be center field. He just isn't a short-stop although he fits the proto-type physically.

Winter league is going to be pretty interesting to follow. They still are a long way from being a major league team with catching, short-stop, and the entire outfield being weak in terms of prospects over-all. And the pitching over-all is very questionable.

Jose Rodriguez, 17 year old SS (and a young 17 at that, birthday's in May) is making some serious noise in the DSL with a wood bat. .991 OPS with only two strikeouts in 47 PA. You never know, he could irrelevant this time next month, but its interesting. A kid who would be just finishing his sophomore year of HS in the USA putting up numbers in a professional league with guys who are 3 or 4 years older than him.

I'm not going to be happy if they Carson Fulmer him and force feed him into the big leagues. From here on out, everybody needs to earn their way up.

They won't. Sale trade looks terrible, no way around it at this point.

The good news is Hansen has avoided Tommy John, Dunning looks good, Cease looks great and Stephens has emerged a bit. Spencer Adams is still around too. They could really use a nice second half out of Clarkin or someone like that too. I don't think Kopech is up until this time next year and I'm worried that when he realizes that he's going to get upset and perform even worse.

He’s working on his breaking stuff. People reacting to each start like it’s the projection of his future are Cub trolls or overreacting.

I would say he's on the fringe of the Sox system top 10.

Kopech won AA pitcher of the year last season. I would say a stretch of bad starts doesn't erase his promise. They made something out of Dylan Covey.
