I ended up turning the final round off before the final group hit the back nine. No interest in watching the course being reduced to a toothless birdie fest thanks to the USGA caving to the whining of the players.

Also I don't care for any of the top 5 or 6 guys on the leaderboard.

Another failed US Open in my eyes marred by inconsistent course set up from day to day.

pittmike must have lost his shit when Tiger got frustrated and ran around the hole to hit a moving ball.

Surprised he hasn't posted about it yet.

If they change 3 pins on Saturday the course would have played tough but fair. To completely neuter the course by soaking/putting every pin in the middle of the green took away all the drama coming down the stretch. I’ll take the Saturday carnage over birdies any day of the week at a US Open. Every PGA Tour event caters to the players and makes it easy for them so 1 week a year I’d like to see them struggle. Really disappointed with what they did Sunday.

I'm leaning towards the side who think Phil should have been DQ'd. I wouldn't be surprised if that rule gets tweaked.

 Sorry but I have to disagree with you here. I don't like the fact that they weakened the course as much as they did but it did allow
A guy to shoot an amazing score to jump back into the mix and there were quite a few bunched up between +1 and +5 for a good chunk of the
back nine. One bad hole by Koepka and it would have been a free for all. There was plenty of drama all the way up until Koepka chipped it on
the 18th green.

Or one good hole by Stenson or Rose, one more good hole from Reed, or one non-three putt from DJ would have added to the drama.
