Those spots are hit or miss, but some are funny. My fav is the one where the loan officer is interviewing Mr. Kafoosman.

"This application is 22 pages!"
"Oh, I'm afraid I gave you the wrong one...you're going to have to fill out the long form."

I really don't like the voice of the Tito's Vodka guy. The way he says "batchezzzz" sounds Pauly Shore-like. Also good to know he wears a filthy hat all day and his flea-bitten dog is always nearby.

Waddle yelling at the end of the Hawk Ford commercials is grating.

Sily is a busy guy, he works four hours a day, so he recently used the Takl "tAHHkl" app to hire someone to clean his grill. Maybe he got a huge grill from a sponsor that takes hours to clean, but I don't think it's ever taken me longer than 20 minutes to clean my grill.

I think they could have used a better example of a household task you'd want to hire someone to do.

Hire a freelancer to scrub your grill, God, they could bring Teinowitz back just for that read.

Hated this guy for a while, same reasons.

Some dude with the same hat he's been wearing for years with his dog standing around the booze makes me assume the vodka smells like dirty hair and has dog hairs in it. His voice is dumb too, his esses are too long and he says "Austin Texas" like a moron.

The woman in the Peloton commercial, who I assume is supposed to be the motivating force behind your workout, is one of the least motivating people I have ever heard. It might as well be Alexa or the Google Assistant talking:

The time is now, Peloton.
The place is here.
Let's ride.

I would be more motivated if I were told the faster I pedal the quicker I could get away from David Kaplan who was riding next to me talking about his wife's job at Malnati's, how much he can bench, or some tedious story about his time as a coach/scout.

Yeah, no....this woman does not need to pay money to meet guys on the internet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH1-fg3Dd6Y

MISOGYNY ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!
She's hot as hell, she's always out of town so she probably just wants some DDF D to hit before the next flight.
She probably also enjoys pizza, belching up buffalo wings, shitty beer and watching the 'big game' with the guys in her (insert random hot player) gamer.....

Walking down LaSalle St. this morning, I saw the following billboard for the Adler Planetarium:

"From Pluto's perspective, the United States of America is less than one year old. SPACE IS AWESOME!"

First of all, the United States is older than the discovery of the planet of Pluto (1930).

But okay, if you're trying to do a cosmic calendar thing, the statement above doesn't even begin to accurately relate the time spans. Whether you go by the age of the universe, or even the formation of our solar system and planets, if you compress the elapsed time into exactly one year, humans didn't arrive on the scene until about 9 pm on December 31, and Columbus arrived in America about one second to midnight.

What kind of idiots do they have working in the Planetarium's marketing department?

I am guessing that the majority of people don't think about in your terms. But even if their marketing statement was true why would that make space "cool" or relatable to the general public?

I did wonder whether they meant to say the USA is less than a second old (which would have been more accurate), or if they felt they needed to dumb it down for the average person.

I get what they're saying... Pluto has an orbital period of 248 earth years, so the united states is less than one pluto year old.
