If he is there at 7 then its Porter.

If he is gone then its Carter from what I have read about him. I want them to take a 3 or a big.

Don't want Bamba or Young. Of the guys in that top 7 or 8 i think they are the likeliest ones to be busts

Porter played 3 college games....too much of a risk

Bulls could be looking to trade up for Doncic according to a few different sources. If they don’t have to give up Lauri or next years unprotected first sounds like a great idea.

I think they are screwed at 7. They should move up IMO.

I'm a fan of this idea.

Hopefully Dunn, 7, 22 and maybe Valentine or Portis is enough to move up. I wouldn’t want any future picks in play but I have a feeling that won’t be enough.

Stay away from Young and Porter. Carter looks to be a good pro as does Bridges.

1. Porter
2. Bamba
3. Bridges
4. Young

I agree with FF. Once the pick is made, I’ll talk myself into thinking he’s going to be awesome. I like Bridges more than some people on the board. Jimmy Butler and Paul George couldn’t create for themselves when they first entered the league.

Anything except Lauri and next years first and they can have it.

I was watching some highlights of the picks being discussed and the thing that stood out to me was that they showed Bridges with several aggressive moves to the basket finishing with dunks and all of Porters close to the basket finishes were layed in. I know that’s rather meaningless but it did kind of surprise me.

That would be great. My hope all along is that they would be able to trade up and come away with Doncic, Bagley or JJ

Bleacher report had a article saying they were looking to move up to land Porter. That seems completely stupid. There seems to be a pretty decent shot Porter is there at 7. If you are moving up it better be for someone other than Porter

I am far from an expert but Porter and Young both could be busts whereas Carter/Bridges look to be good steady players. Yeah everyone wants a superstar, but if he ain't there, he ain't there.

I have a feeling between Porter and Young, one will creep up and be drafted earlier than expected -- and the other will fall a bit (maybe to Cleveland or New York.

If we draft Young let’s just shutdown this sub forum until 2021 when the real rebuild finally starts.

The Bulls may have to take on Chandler Parsons’ contract to move up to #4. $24 million this year. And $25 million the next.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/ct-spt-bulls-nba-draft-mo-bamba-20180620-story.html

I’ll take on Parsons if Bagley is there, not for Bamba. That’s a terrible contract. Worse than Deng. If Bagley’s gone and Bamba is there, do a deal without Parsons.

Only way I’m taking on that contract is for Doncic.

Trae Young doesn't look an inch over 6'1" in that photo with Hoiberg.

I don't want Trae Young for many reasons, and only one of them is that he is at least 2 inches shorter than Steph Curry.

if the bulls are going to continue to completely ignore defense, who cares how tall he is?

Read a stat where They only isolated against Young 32 times the entire season.

Houston ran 15 isos per 100 possessions against Curry in that series alone.

Better coaches and better players are going to exploit the hell out of Young on Defense.

Cleveland Iso'd Rozier (A much better defender than Young) 6 per 100 possessions.

This kid is going to be baby food for guys in the NBA and his shot selection and decision making are bad also.

Hope they run from this.

@JakeLFischer: Kevin Knox says one team interview at the Combine pressed him if he had a child. Knox, was surprised, obviously replying “no.” The team asked again, saying their intel had learned he had a child. Knox asked for the kid’s name and the team finally relented, admitting it was hoax.

His exact type of college player had been drafted in the first round and failed too many times to count. In today's NBA, even a bigger chance with how long and athletic guards are. He won't be able to create, and his decision making is poor. The assists he made in college are turnovers in the NBA. He will be blocked and bodied without hesitation.

There hasn't been a player like Trae in college. No one in the history of the college game has combined scoring and playmaking the way Trae did this year.
