Jalen Brunson went from being the Villanova star, until the tournament, to being a 2nd rounder behind three teammates. Wow.

LTG, you never answered my question in another section about Mitchell Robinson. Since we never really got to see him play, what was the high school scouting report?

Don't know much about him. I will have one after the summer league. Hold fast.

Didn’t know Giannis had a brother playing college ball.

I did. I draft him in every long term franchise I did in 2k. Kostas is a beast at slashing and finishing even at 69 overall.

Probably not but I’d love to see them bring in Duval and Newman.

Duval really plummeted in last year.

Yeah but that’s why I bring him in. He couldn’t have been that highly rated a year ago for no reason.

This guy missed his first conference call and now his first practice. Great start.

After watching summer league it appears that everybody missed the boat on Billy Preston. He looked really really good for a guy who didn't play all year. Hooked up with the Cavs in summer league, wonder if they will sign him.

knew this was coming. If you have your first micro discketomy in November and come next June you are still having serious back pain (and possibly radicular pain) that's a big time red flag that there's stil something seriously wrong with your back. This makes sense now because at the time of his surgery I couldn't understand why it was taking him so long to come back. A successful first micro disketomy on a guy who is in good shape should have no longer than an 8 week inactive period before you can resume full 5v5 ball. And that's on the long side, it's usually 6 weeks.

and LOL at his camp saying spinning this like it's a huge positive. Yes, it hopefully will end his current problems, but there is nothing good about having multiple back surgeries. Any time you go back in tghere you increase the amount of scar tissue and make it more likely that the scar tissue could come in contact with the nerve root. ONce that happens you are screwed because you can't fix that since any subsequent surgery to remove scar tissue will only leave additional scar tissue.

For refernce, it was after my 3rd back surgery that my neurosurgeon told me I was done playing basketball. That was age 30. From age 18-30 I had played basketball on average 6 days per week and often 2-3 hours per day. So lots of wear and tear.

I can't think of any NBA players that had 3 back surgeries. Not even sure if I can think of any that had 2. I know Scottie had back surgery, but I think he just had one.

I had an L5 microdiscectomy right out of high school and went on to play baseball and soccer in college and have kept playing sports for 25 years without another back issue. Based on this I’m calling Porter soft as Charmin.
