Spiegel and Mac were on the ice during the Game 6 celebration in Philly. Spiegel stole a marsh peg as a memento. Mac, Zawaski or Mac left the marsh peg out and a cleaning lady tossed it.

Spiegel got really passive agressive about the lost peg.

Don't know the drinky aspect. Probably called spiegs a pussy for caring about a hockey dildo

Pretty sure from the little I heard that drinky has possession of peg and wont give it back.

Drinky stole the peg as a joke. He was originally going to send an anonymous ransome note using magazine clippings glued to a piece of paper. He never got around to it and decided to keep the peg. Mac and a few other producers knew of the peg's whereabouts but never told Spiegs.

Dick moves all around.

Parkins asked Mac why drinky stole it. And Mac pretty much said because drinky hated Spiegel. These SCORE boys are like Jr high kids.

Mac still has the one he stole.

They should make a bit out of this. Get drinky and Spiegel on the air to talk about it. See if drinky will give it back to Spiegel. It could be fun. I'll bet Spiegel would get pissed on the air.

Speigel was especially douchey during this whole marsh peg thing. He was contantly bragging that he stole it and then was pissy when someone stole it from him.

I remember that. He was legit angry that it got stolen. He accused Finfer of stealing it.

That's why it would be funny if Mac and Danny put drinky and Spiegel on the air to talk about it. Drinky would be a dick to him and Spiegel would have a meltdown.

Mac: We now welcome Matt Abbatacola and Matt Spiegel on the SCORE to discuss the marsh peg. Welcome, boys.

Spiegel: So you gonna give it back to me, drinky?

Drinky: No.

Spiegel: Why not?

Drinky: Because you're fat and I hate you.

That was a pretty great segment. I would pay like $20 to have watched Spiegel's face as he listened to the segment.

Drinky is probably pissed that Mac outed him.

Now that I think about it, drinky stealing it was probably in response to Spiegel taking a shot at him by calling him a "Part timer" on the air. This was the Hawks first cup win. And I think that's when Spiegel attacked drinky with that comment. Drinky was looking for revenge so he stole the marsh peg.

That's the way 12 year old boys do things. Somebody calls you a name and you steal something from him. Weird in the normal adult world. But makes perfect sense in the SCORE world.

Mac, get these two on the air to discuss it. It would be good radio. They're both child like brats. It will escalate. You should want that. They'll look like dumb asses but it will be entertaining to the listeners.

It would be great to have Spiegel vs Drinky on an episode of Judge Murph.
