Three with opt out in fourth. Probably getting ready to take it easier.

Still pretty surprising imo.

I don’t think him and Alonzo complement each other. This could get really interesting now.

He’s definitely having a heavy talk with Lonzo in the next 24 hours.

Don't see this happening without Lebron having guarantees of some more pieces on the way (like George or Leonard).

So, I expect some big announcements tomorrow to follow if this really is happening.

Right now you are correct. But they have some interesting pieces. Ingram and Randle could be All Stars. Lonzo has potential to be an All NBA defender and guarding guards is a problem Cleveland struggled with in particular. Josh Hart is a cheaper, potentially better and smarter JR Smith. There’s stuff to work with.

Kid graduates HS in four years and LeBron goes wherever his son is drafted. Turns out its the Gary Payton scoop that did it, LeBron wants to be around his kid in LA.

I dont know how good 37 year old LeBron will be, but if he's still the same player (or something like it) it could result in the interesting scenario where his son is kinda bad, like not even a real prospect with NBA potential, but is drafted high because a team knows they'll get LeBron with him.

George is out. Resigned with OKC already.

This is really happening. SI doesn’t report false shit generally.

The Cavaliers made everyone with floor seats sign deals this February that would lock them in for the next three seasons.

Well done by the Cavs.

Boogie may be the 2nd star that the Lakers target.

I'm surprised he signed so quickly. Wouldn't you want to first pressure the Lakers to make a deal or two before signing?

Why care? If they lose it is his teammates fault.

I think it is ridiculous people think it is a guarantee his son will be drafted in five or six years depending on if they end the one and done.

The Lakers...
with Leonard and Boogie: top 3 seed in the West, assuming LeBron coasts (if he tries for some reason they challenge for the top)
with Boogie but no Leonard: make the playoffs comfortably but not without some drama
without Boogie or Leonard: fringe playoff team. Potential for absolute shitshow a year from now with finger pointing everywhere.

lol @ 'generally'

I'm phone pwnt right now so I'm not keeping track of news atm and OP didn't have a link, so thought it might be another speculative thread.

So, who else does everyone see going to the Lakers then? No way James believes he can go far in the Western conference with this team as is, or is he now at a point where he thinks the rings don't matter much?

LeBron is not gonna flirt with missing the playoffs next year.

Not sure I’d trust Boogie right now. If they get Kawhi and hes healthy and committed this team would scare the shit out of GS and maybe beat them. If they don’t get Kawhi I can’t see them competing for a title really but they will still easily make the playoffs.
