So you think LeBron is good for 5 more wins? Cavs are still a playoff team (#6 seed) without him.

I'm just fucking with you.

Idk. Maybe 30 or 35.

I doubt they make the trade deadline deals either.

Aye I thought maybe you were president of the Kevin Love fan club

I think it’s close but I’d rather have Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, and Randle vs Hill, Smith, Korver, and Love. Lakers won 35. Lebron’s win shares = 14.

J.R. Smith's days as a starter are numbered. Korver's also. Their starting lineup will look drastically different next season. Lebron is the most significant change but some of the ones that were in simply because of their ability to space the floor for Lebron will be out.

Cleveland's biggest problem the past 2 seasons was their lack of athleticism. They tried to address that at the deadline and in the draft as well. Guys like Korver don't fit anymore and neither does Smith.

Something severely lacking in anything you happen to contribute.

Rondo just signed with the Lakers.

FF is gonna nut himself if they can get Rajon and Kawhi on the same team.

Doesn't help shooting or defense. Idk if it helps Lonzo either.

You beat me to it, maybe FFs new team now.

Could it mean Lonzo may be on the move?

I'm not entirely sure Rondo is a starting caliber player anymore, but I'm not the expert on his career.

He's still a very good starting caliber player.

He's been reliable for 65 or so games and 26mpg the last two years.

What do you think they'll do with Lonzo now? Start, sit, trade?

No idea. That’s up to LeBron.

I don't think Rondo will accept being a backup to a bum like Ball. I can't see Lebron James playing with Lonzo Ball either. I wonder if that is one of the things GM Lebron discussed with GM Magic. Lebron doesn't want to play with younger, garbage guys at this stage of his career.

I detest the Lakers but I have to admit this ramshackle group will at the very least bring the laughs. Lonzo, Rondo, McGee, Lance, and potentially Cousins are gonna have Lebron missing clearheaded players like J.R. Smith. I would be shocked if there wasn't at least one fight when they play the Warriors this year.

Yeah I kind of agree. I cant see Rondo agreeing to a deal there if he wasnt expected to be the starter.

Has Lavar said anything since Lebron came on board?

I haven't heard anything from him in awhile. The Lakers org told him to pipe down awhile ago and i really don't remember much from him since. One thing i'm certain of is this. If James wants him out and i believe he does then he is out.

They have already scuttled him as the face of the franchise. Fairly obvious that he isn't that and now i think it is obvious that he isn't part of their future either.

Looking more and more like the damn journeyman i thought him to be all along.

Lavars silence maybe a sign of things not being so good with Lonzos future there. I would think all things being normal that he would be everywhere declaring he was right that Lebron and Lonzo were going to play together.

Lebron and Lonzo are a terrible fit and i often wondered why he thought they would be a good match Lonzo would be terrible playing off the ball. Rondo and Lebron become the point guards for the foreseeable future even if Rondo doesn't start. Lebron is now the Lakers point guard.

No way he passes up the chance to replicate Magic while playing for Magic. Lonzo out.

From twitter:

My lasting impression of Rondo came in locker room scrum after Anthony Davis had 53 vs. Suns:

Me: You’ve played with & against a lot of great players in your career. Can you put into perspective what A.D. is doing right now?

Rondo: Whatcha want me to do? Suck him off?

Me: Uh.

Probably the reason they renounced Randle. I think the plan might be to sign Boogie to a 1 year deal this year at a slightly reduced price then resign him along with Kawhi next year for big dough.

They can stretch Deng's contract out and create more space. Probably another move or 2 they can make as well. They can also do a sign and trade with N.O. I don't think N.O wants Cousins back either so they might be agreeable to a sign and trade rather than lose him for nothing.

Rondo and Cousins are also airtight so there might something to Boogie joining the Lakers.

I think stretching Deng gives them $16mil.

The Lakers could dangle Deng and Lonzo in a trade and New Orleans might possibly bite on it. Deng being the piece you don't want and Ball being the one you do. I think Boogie plays for the Lakers next season.

Holiday plays the 2 these days. I can't see a team committing multiple years at big money to Cousins coming off an Achilles injury. He has to show that he is recovered first. Sign a one year deal with the Lakers and prove you can play then re up next year for multiple years and big money. Lakers would be able to sign he and Kawhi to max deals or close to it at that point.
