Agree with the sentiment somewhat, but he seems to be implying that DeCastro is destroying the station by bringing in Mac, not by bringing in the ex-87.7 lightweights.

I mean, seriously, who the hell would rather have Goff and Haugh in the lineup than McNeil and Parkins?

I guess goff and speegs are soon to be has beens - give em 6 months and they will arrive on the dung heap of chicago sports radio history.

6-9am Dan Bernstein
9-12pm Hanley & Holmes
12-3pm Goff & Spiegel
3-6pm Mully & Haugh

Contractual, may not have all worked but a major change was needed and something the listeners deserved and the station needed

It’s all about proving a point - very obvious.
I like listening to Bernstein. I always felt Dan could be a national superstar if he ever wanted that. He’s the best in business. The difficulties in working with him were merely annoying at worst and far from some of the experiences I encountered with Murph or have heard about other guys in the business.
Hanley being removed is a terrible move by Jimmy but I’m sure his team on the morning show fought against it.
The Score has had 3 periods - 1. the beginning and initial growth
2. The powerhouse days anchored by @RealTerryBoers and @dan_bernstein
3. The DeCastro Destruction
Maybe @McNeil_Parkins can set the over/under on when Jimmy leaves?
