So? You could say that about any move and GM in any sport ever made.

Don't understand the point.

If they'd have allowed him to walk for nothing the same people bashing GarPax for signing him would also be bashing them for allowing him to leave.

Same old drab.

The only way its a bad signing is if they overpaid for him. They didn't. Sacramento established the market value for him when they signed him to the offer sheet.

Because Sacramento can be trusted to know a good move.

You're an apologist. You'll defend GarPax on anything and everything.

And you blame them for everything. You have bashed them for any and everything the past 3 yrs.

Which moves have you applauded over the past 3 yrs? Please don't fabricate either. Which moves have you actually gave them credit for making?

I'd like think you're too smart to claim whatever Vlade Divac offers Levine is in anyway indicative of his market value. By that logic Houston must not have overpaid for Omer Asik when they signed him for 3/25 because they set his market value when they signed him to an offer sheet the Bulls didn't match.

I applaud them for not winning anything in 15 years.

Well yeah same logic applies. It made no sense to allow Lavine to walk away for that dollar amount.

I love how all the Monday morning qbs are complaining about resigning Lavine but it was just last yr that MANY were saying that the only reason that a player of Lavine's ability was available was because of injury.. No way the Bulls get him otherwise.

The Bulls signed him at the price that I believed he was worth. I said so previously.

It made no sense to allow him to leave for nothing and you and guys like Imu not liking him isn't enough.

Remember he is the guy that believed that he sees Tyrus Thomas when he sees Bobby Portis. He also beliieves that MCW is one coach (Thibs) away from being a good player..

One possible move~risky, let Lavine go to Sac.. Make Smart an offer for 3~45ish that Boston won't match.

None! What good moves have they've made? They've butchered a rebuild.

I love how now it becomes they have not made any good moves when they are a top 2 team in the East. And let us not forget who was smart enough to drop thibs and bring in a real coach who is a leader. That part is always forgotten. If the Bulls make it out of the East they can beat anyone in the west this year.

1. Firing Thibs

2. Trading Butler

3. Trading for Dunn Lavine and Drafting Markannen.

Those 3 moves alone were good moves.

You know you have a strong point when you have to take one move and turn it into two moves.

Two separate entities and i included the Markannen move into that.

What is your grand plan anyway?

That seems odd. Unless he was looking for an exorbitant contract (length or money) he seemed like a guy who actually boosts Gars resume.

The Grant and Nwaba developments are maneuverings to set up another move.

But seriously. Carmelo to the Bulls for Lopez and Felicio. Buyout Melo so he can sign with Houston. Bulls have 2 max spots because Felicio’s $8 million a year is no more.
