Grote and dziepak are filling in for les overnight this week.grote had a show Friday night solo and it was good. Dziepak of the B team seems like he has potential but has never got a break. It's got to brutal on the B guys seeing Parkins and McKnight getting gravy jobs they're overlooked on. Les is getting really boring strolling down memory lane for the millionth time it seems like.

I think all the guys hands are tied on Cubs broadcasts.

Les hasn’t changed his act in 20+ years. But I like him because he isn’t a guy trying to be king of radio. He comes in does his job leaves. He also knows he’s lucky to have the gig and isn’t a douche.

There has to be common sense point between Goofy Grote and Professional Tree Stump ZZ.

Grote has got to be a little ticked off. It's like getting tapped on the shoulder and asked to leave the party when it's still raging. That being said, he got a pretty sweet landing spot, going from the Cubs to the most important team in town is not exactly a step down.

perhaps it was because Grote wasn't audibly cackling at every goddamn weak joke made by hughes during the broadcast. jesus Christ. Zaidman is loud as fuck in the background chuckling at everything, this kiss-ass he is.
