I don't watch all of the teams either. I watch the teams with Rookies picked in the top 10-15.

My basic point is that if i want to get a gauge on what Trae Young will look like as a Pro i have a much better chance of finding out by watching him against other pros than i would by watching him drop 40 on Colorado.

There is nothing i get from that since he is likely playing against vastly inferior talent.

It is not the best basketball you ever want to see but there is a higher level of talent and every player attests to it during interviews.

I'm not but you are with the idiotic bet you attempted to make. I never said it was the best basketball you damn liar and if i have find the quote using the search function. I have always maintained that I'd rather watch it than college basketball. I still think so so what exactly am I backpedaling from?

It's a bunch of rookies or 2nd year players who have never played together, and they've gone through maybe 1 week of practices. Of course the quality of play is going to be poor.

So using this how to gage a player

Yep you damn clown. Last year the Summer League and not your negative ass verified that Jayson Tatum was a better basketballl player than Lonzo Ball for me.

When No Great Shakes was running around spewing his bullshit you were conspicously Gifless and Commentless for some not so strange reason.

Donovan Mitchell FF's favorite player blew up first in the Summer League.

So did Kyle Kuzma

I first saw Lauri Markkanen in the Summer League and knew he was a player. Said so. Check the tape.

While you are running around with your usual bashfest others are actually watching and simply observing.

To think that it holds no value is stupid since undrafted guys make teams each and every year based on Summer League performances.

Simeon's Kendick Nunn appears to be one of the latest to do so.

Carry on Gif Meister as the world continues to pass you by.

Summer League action is Fantastic!

Apparently your ability to decipher wit only extends to Gifs.

I laid the my case out perfectly. I even provided examples but they are lost upon you.

I see you are ducking the bet too. It was a bet that you wanted til you didn't of course.

Now you are resorting to editing posts in order to obfuscate opinions? Say it ain't so Walt?

The competition isn't the best as that would be competition among NBA regulars.

This is still better than college basketball because you have better players involved.

That was always my point though that was somehow lost on you. Usual flipping of arguments to prove a point. Save it. I never said it was the best so where again is the backpedal? And from what?

Trae with a day vs the Bulls. 7 threes. Blew a handful of wide open bunnies, but the point is he got a bunch of wide open bunnies. He looked good.

Carter looked really good as well.

my Summer League observations:

1. Beer prices have approached Wrigley levels.

2. Johnathan Issac is taller than Mo Bamba.

3. Zach LaVine’s girlfriend is a dime.

4. Moritz Wagner will finish top 10 in technicals.

5. Doc Rivers CANNOT walk.

6. Chandler Hutchison’s effort on defense :(

7. Doris Burke is a sweetheart.

Trae Mutherfucking Young!

Followed up yesterday's strong game with a superstar performance in today's 21 pt comeback victory over Indiana and Aaron Holiday.

23 pts on good shooting and 8 assists. 7pts and 5 assists during the last 5 minutes of the 4th.

Our boy Wendell had himself a great game as well, he's a stud.

Wendell has been as good as one could ask in every game he's played. Im psyched.

I don't agree on Young. Summer league is literally tailor made for guys like him and he's been less than impressive overall. I think he rounds out as an interesting 6th man as a ceiling.

Very odd take. I take it you didn't watch the game yesterday. he was the summer league's best player yesterday.

And you are clearly lookng at summer league wrong. Saying someone hasn't been impressive overall means nothing. You don't look at overall body of work, you look for improvement. Guys who get better and better as the session goes on and they get comfortable with the speed of the game. Trae's last 2 games have show monumental improvement in each one. First he went off from 3 against the BUlls, then people said he can't finish around the rim. So yesterday he only hits 2 threes, but goes 5-7 on 2 pointers, most of them awesome floaters in traffic. His passing and vision are Lonzo-esque, he showed that in the 4th quarter run last night.

he needs to get stronger obviously and that will probably take a few years, but he's going to be special once he figures it all out.

Only got 2 games wrong in my bracket yesterday. Crushing my wife (not just when I'm on top) who only got 2 games right.

yes, we are doing a bracket for this, but we do a bracket for just about anything that has a bracket.

wow, a lot of teams missed on Mitchell Robinson. 16/11 with 6 blocks today. Everyone talking about Knox, but this guy looks pretty good for being picked #36.

Was highly rated out of high school, like top 10. Committed to Western Kentucky for some unknown reason then decided not to go and just sat out the year. No one really knew what he was even doing.

Between him and Knox the Knicks appear to have hit a grand slam this year as opposed to last year's total strike out when they whiffed on Dennis Smith and Donovan Mitchell to take Nikitina who so far does not look good.

I've watched this crap for a couple of years and I have seen no one take control of a game like Young did yesterday
