You have to love Sir on a certain level.

This was part of a larger discussion about how Laurence no longer likes being in big crowds and how if he was going into sports now, he'd probably choose an individual sport.

My favorite is the "I tell my wife 'you used to live in a room; now you live in house'. Remember that".

To paraphrase him he'll refer to his show as cutting edge, innovative sports radio doing what no one else is doing.
Then he and a underling will take about comic book superheroes for half an hour.

Holmes at the 1:20 mark- still fits in his Babe Ruth uniform and shows the swing that almost got him drafted: https://wgntv.com/2018/07/13/getting-to ... ios-pizza/

Not about me, lol....also I don’t believe Norbit(Leery)was either. Him and Goff loved to tell lies about their athleticism and luck with the ladies. Neither has any game on either subject.

I'm sure everyone is focusing on the captain part of the sentence, but I'm still hung up on the BS that he was ever actually on any teams in the frist place.

What sport did he even pretend to play?

Laurence is getting more and more like Julie in that his lies and exaggerations spread to many fields and often change.

When he wanted to impress upon everyone how smart he is and that he could have gone to a better school than DePaul, he used to say he was accepted to Michigan but didn't go because it was too expensive and he didn't want his parents to have to pay that much even though they said they would. That has now changed to him being accepted to Yale but not going because he didn't want his parents to pay that much even though they said they would.

Is that better/worse than me always reminding my wife that she was a west of Milwaukee Avenue Jew and she's lucky I decided to slum it.

Pretty sure I heard Goff yammer about him still playing basketball and being good in his opinion. But then again all black dudes think they are good at basketball. Nerds like Goff and Norbit included

Goff is pretty good at basketball considering that as soon as his coach tried to help him work on his shot, he walked out of the gym.

Probably told the whitey coach to kiss his ass too - kind of like at the score- right before his black ass got fired. Lol

Anyone hear Larry tonight going on and on and on about what a great athlete he was and how much better he was than any other score employee with the possible exception of Haugh

I really think he keeps talking about this stuff to convince himself that it is true

Best cfmb athlete...hmm

Now or in there prime? How do we obtain bonafides? Do we go by the Krazy ivan (no hockey, golf, etc.) rules for sport or the ESPN version of sport?

I wonder if he never heard the laugh track when Al Bundy would talk about scoring 4 TDs for Polk High.

Mac played college football at Ball St.
Zawaski tackled McNabb in high school.

Telander might have been the best score athlete college-wise. He was All-Big Ten 10 at Northwestern.
