Done. 2 years $40 million. Signed as an UFA. Gotta wait for Woj to give details on any opt out/guarantees.

This is a good move. Parker was playing at an All Star level before the injury and he is still only 23. At that type of dough he has to start and it will more than likely be at the 3

Second year is a team option. So this deal does nothing to restrict them in free agency.

Interesting. Lavine will love that Parker got higher AAV than he did.

I'd read something along those lines around playoff time. Said that he may have been jealous of Giannis. I might be able to buy that as Giannis ushered him aside as the face of the franchise.

People that i know that know him well say that he is a great kid. Never heard about any problems with him while he was with Simeon.

Some of the kids there were envious of him as a freshman. Robert Smith made him a priority from day one and some of the older kids resented it but Smith cleared it up rather quickly.

The Bucks let him know during the season that he wasn't in the plans so this was no surprise.

How can a23 year old former#2 pick who has shown promise not be in your plans? Especially with him only wanting a2 year deal?

Yeah.. I remember the low minutes and complaining.. That's normal. I think he's gonna be back to 20ppg.. Always liked the guy.. Westbrook had 2 acl surgeries and came back 100%.

He turned down a 3 year deal for 54 mil prior to the start of the season and from there (Much like Boogie with NO) it was over.

And your point happens to be what exactly? Jabari Parker isn't Jimmy Butler's replacement and you may not have noticed but they weren't winning any championships "with All Star" Jimmy Butler either.

they need to install some sort of prevent defense that will limit opponents to 75% FG%

Bulls are a better team than they were at any point during Butler's last 2 seasons here. That is my point. They upgraded by getting rid of him.

LaVine and Parker will both be sketch on defense but at least this thing will be fun.

so you have them making the playoffs or being better than .500

Think NWaba, Zipser, And Stone have already been done. I don't think they have renounced Vonleh yet. I hope they keep Vonleh but i guess they can't.
