I guess, when you can't afford both a long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirt, might as well grab one that looks crappy as either.

I had pants like that once, I think someone recommended them for hiking or something. Cool in the morning, they are pants, zip off lowers in afternoon and you have shorts. Save space in your pack. I think I wore them once.

I've seen shirts like this that have a snap up there to roll of the sleeve basically. Seemed kind of unneeded, like it was a design to say "look what I can do" and then you never actually do it.

They are there to roll up the sleeves. There is a “latch” to keep your r sleeves rolled up. Fucking billionaire can’t buy a regular long sleeve red shirt. Who dressed his dumb ass.
