Indoor soccer should be the model for outdoor to eliminate the ball going out of bounds, the throw ins and all the time wasted from the stoppages.

Why couldn't walls be put up around the perimeter of an outdoor soccer field? Then it would be more like hockey.

The offside rule in soccer is a little strange, too. Why couldn't they just use blue lines? It would make it much more straightforward.

And if you're going to do penalty kicks to decide a game, then back the shooters up to give the goalie a fairer chance to defend.
