But you are a win loss guy. He's 15-9 for the Cubs, which means he's good in your book.

I dont make the rules.

31, 32 starts? I am sure there was 20-30 start stretches for the Sox where he pitched well. He was an All Star at one point.

We'll see what Quintana is after 100, 120 starts on the northside. I would expect his win% to be somewhere between .490 and .510.

I thought the point of the minors, is to work on your craft? Maybe I am wrong. This is year #2 of the rebuild.

In year 2 of the Cubs rebuild the prospects were dominating in their respective level of the minors, not treading water like Kopech. it's not
looking good at all. We all know they have been fucking up the draft, Robert, that's not good for IFA, so these trade bounty pieces better come through as legit, if not..ouch. Not good.

This is nothing like the Cubs rebuild. This is like the Astros rebuild.

that looks awful promising right there, in the 33rd round he could really be the steal of the draft.

Fulmer pitched (poorly) out of the bullpen again today. I didn’t see an announcement that he’s being moved to the bulllen. I wonder if they’re hoping no one will notice.

This guy calling the W-S Dash game sounds remarkably like John Smoltz.

I would have a very big problem with it if Jimenez is in the majors before May of next year

If we are talking options, Sept call up is fine. At this point, that is all that is acceptable.

The Sox don't need a LF this year. Let the terrible Charlie Tilson play out the string and worry about a real MLB left fielder next season. If Jimenez is healthy, he should be up in September and should break camp with the Sox next year.

I talked to a guy who saw Kopech and said he looked bored. Can't just hold guys back to hold them back. They're ready so get them up here and let them play.

I've said this multiple times, even said it to a beat reporter on twitter that thought I was crazy.

Yes you can hold them back to hold them back but Kopech should try being dominant before being bored. I'm sure he is on innings restrictions and will be shut down by September anyway.

Jimenez is a different story, but he has had a very short stay in AAA.

Kopech has thrown 88 innings. He can easily go 150-175. That’s 10-12 very important big league starts he can make to better understand what he needs to work on during the off season.

Jimenez doesn’t need triple A. He’s a big league hitter.

I really think they are playing the options/contract issue with these two. I would of called Eloy up a couple months ago, but at this point is doesn't make sense, imo.
