sometimes my jaw dropped at some of the stuff he'd pop up with on here... and as someone who'll check in on 8pol every now and then that says something. when i saw the infamous quote from the other day i couldn't help but have the word "edgelord" running through my head.

chan culture is what it is and there's a time and a place for it... when you're browsing the chans. i was even surprised to see ((()))'s pop up here and seemingly be used unironically. hell, i remember the thread on 8pol where the parentheses first popped up like "wtf? people are saying we use this to call out people of the hebrew persuasion... have you guys ever heard of this?" and ever since that thread it caught on and spread like wildfire, almost as if the thread itself was some kind of psychological operation (akin to how i'm pretty sure i caught an early forcing of the "cuck" meme on a /tv/ thread years back. now that one's ubiquitous no matter where you go)

that said, i caught a vibe like he was trying to fight some sort of good fight here with the edgelord/chan-culture raison d'etre... uncanny x-men #280 vibe.

well like CH said, i don't think he was always this way... he seemed to grow into it over time, which makes you wonder if the sociopolitical climate over the last few years "redpilled" him (or perhaps even "blackpilled him") and caused him to eventually have that cause to go out and promote... cuz it sure felt like he he was trying to represent a side or a cause or something... what's the dude like in real life?

he was pleasant, if a little quiet. i think the unraveling is telling, though. i don't know if it was boredom or just something going on in his personal life, but his constant need to be a heel was going way over the top. like, doubling down on being a dick.
