You’d called a factual post dumb. LaVine got about the same dollars per year for the same production. I’ve come to expect it from you.

I don’t think you know what factual means. Maybe we should start questioning your intelligence.

Read the last page again. You guys said a 15 PPG player is worth $40 million nowadays. I provided two examples and could provide a lot more disproving that. It also ignores the context of which the contracts were offered. I justifiably called that a dumb way of looking at it. Now you said it was a factual statement, which again, was just disproved.

Take a break.

Yes, we learned that with the LaVine contract.

That’s a pretty dumb way of looking at it.

15 Ppg got Isaiah Thomas a one year minimum deal.

That's nuts..he could have signed a max deal 2 years ago.. He's a perfect 6th man
.

Doesn't Thomas have a recurring hip issue?

Playoffs of bust for Fred? Probably. How many coaches has Gar-Pax been allowed to hire and fire?

Pretty rare that a front office gets 15 plus years with no titles.

Anything is possible with a brain dead owner. Gar/Pax/Freddie probably give the old man and his son blow jobs and work for cheap. Who in the hell would want to come to Chicago and work for that fivesome of losers?

They’ve fired their last 3 coaches a year early. Skiles, Vinny, and Thibs. Fred entering year 4 of 5 this season.

I can pretty much guarentee I will watch more bull minutes this season than the last 4 years combined.. We should meet up n smoke a J and watch a game somewhere in the fall.. Anywhere in the city limits I'll meet ya..

Its all good 312. I don't blow but i will knock a few back wit ya. Just let me know. This team will be sneaky good i think.

Hoiberg is on the clock. GarPax should be too but can't see Reinsdorf cutting bait with Paxson.

This is the type of team that Hoiberg wants to coach so if he doesn't make the playoffs he should be bounced. I'm sort of leaning towards the notion that he should be bounced if they don't get into the 6th slot.

20 million for one year plus an option seems like a no brainer to me. It isn't my money and they weren't spending it elsewhere. At the worst it is a neutral move.

Would be nice to have two rookie "hits" in a row.

I was listening to some national NBA talk last night and they had some dude on there saying Carter was the best rookie he saw at summer league. Said he thought he was going to prove to be a steal at 7. Mentioned one of the things not often talked about with him was how smart he is. He was accepted into Harvard before choosing Duke.

Hopefully that works out. Carter and Markk together could be a special pair.

There was a rumor recently that the Bulls had shown interest in Jahlil Okafor. Not sure why that would be but I guess kicking the tires at this point is ok.

Hard to believe it's been 3 years of Fred. You have to think unless the team is worse than last year he will probably be around next year. It's kind of unfortunate that Niko Mirotic won them too many games to get a top 5 pick.

Michael Porter apparently had another back surgery. Maybe the Bulls and others knew it wasn’t worth the risk.

If Carter is good and Hutchison plays at all then it worked in their favor.

I think it definitely worked out in their favor, even if accidentally. Carter Jr is going to be a stud. I’m pretty sure the Hutchison pick was a complete waste but that’s ok, #21 picks usually are, it’s just a shame they committed it to a guy who doesn’t look like he can play at the nba level before it was even happening.

I also wanted Carter as well. Porter was my first choice Carter 2nd but I'm cool with the pick. Didn't want Bamba Young or Bridges.
So as far as doing what i wanted they sort of did that.

I also didn't wamt or think they could trade up..Made no sense to do that and I really don't think they could have done it anyway.

Porter can come back from this. 19 or 20 years old. Not a career killer.

Just like with Embiid. Do you think Minnesota or Milwaukee would like a do over right about now? They'd be quite comfortable with him sitting out for 2 years.

I don't understand why teams don't pick players with one NBA ready skill at that point in the draft rather than projecting the growth of talent. Give me one guy who you know will have a role but probably never grow beyond that role and that is a good second half of the draft NBA pick

Agree with him about Lavine but he is underselling Jabari Parker big time. Offensively he is an extremely skilled basketball player. More offensively talented than Jimmy Butler whom regards as borderline top 10.

The Bulls have talent. Really good talent. Guys like Lavine have to become more player than talent at this stage.

I think they are a 40-42 win team this year. Not Contending by any stretch but it is clear that they have a plan now.
