This will shift the entire power structure in the NL race if this happens. Orioles are a frustrating team to deal with but I think this deal will ultimately go through.

My money is on the Phillies. They have the players to acquire him and a shit ton of money to sign him long term so he’s not just a rental.

I just knew it would happen.

I hope the Sox don't outbid us for his services in FA. Still, this makes us the frontrunners in a very weak NL.

As always happens when trading with the Orioles, things have hit a snag.

It sounds like it’s done and Rylan Bannon (Joliet Catholic) is in the deal. Unbelievable. He was an afterthought on those teams with Fellows and Delesandro and all he did was work his ass off and hit the holy hell out of the ball. 30 bombs in a little over a year in the minors. Now he has no one blocking him in an awful O’s system. Good for him.

I’m going to assume he loves LA and because the Dodgers have money they’ll resign him. That means the Cubs have to match and sign Harper this winter right?

I’m sure he could move to 2B.

This changes the entire complexion of the NL playoffs.

Oldest son got to hang out with a bunch of them this weekend & is set to sit down in a small group with Magic tomorrow. The front office is a remarkably great way to still get to the Show. I hope.

Best hitter in the NL imo...if I'm L.A. I trade seger to Mets with a prospect for Degrom.

Big gamble.. Machado would have u by the balls..think they beat anybody though this year and have a 65-75% chance to land Manny for 10 years @ 25-30 per.

I don't see the Dodgers re-signing Machado. Not how Friedman operates.

They'd be paying 350-400 million for what? 10 more homeruns from the SS position?
