yeah I dont really get this move for them either. If they were going to add an infielder I would have thought they would have went after a SS. So is Shaw or Moose going to play 2nd? Neither one of those guys seems like a second baseman.

Shaw is going to play 2b, which I think is pretty arrogant of them. However, it seems like everything Stearns and Council pull out of their ass is sunshine and rainbows. This should be part of a bigger deal where they flip shaw and a prospect for a front line, controllable starter.

He is a nice player, but now Shaw is left out of the lineup too often, or playing out of position. They needed starting pitching, not another position player.
