Mitch has played ok for a rookie with little experience and nothing around him. Then he has a good game and people are still trying to find reason to jump on him. It's been hilarious to watch a lot of these over emotional posts about a rookie still learning to play lol.

Anyway

Mitch will be fine, staying healthy aside. Speaking of that, sucks to see Wentz go down too, I was rooting for that kid. This season sucks for injuries.

Another putrid offensive performance by the Bears and most dumb ass Bear fans will blame everything and everyone outside the QB.

Blame him. It doesn't matter.

Need to see marked improvement next year.

Sounds like he's tossing a lot of picks when he throws downfield.

He looked great throwing on the run and downfield early last year. I wonder if he's trying to force it.

Had some good moments in that video.

The more I read and see of Anthony Miller the more I like. Kid looks like he has a chance to be special.

Sounds like (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has thrown at least one interception in every practice so far and has been picked off two or three times in a bunch of practices. Yikes.

Just indicative of how good the Bears defense is.

Id rather he make the mistakes now than it the games.

Also, its at least possible that the Bears defense might know some of the offensive signals or have an idea of what type of play is coming.

it's very possible he does in fact suck. i recall a past high draft pick QB who only played one year in college was mark sanchez.

it would be quite amazing if he saw a jared goff year 2 improvement.... jared goff was blaine gabbert bad his rookie year... and a new coach got him on the right path.

I mean just by sheer luck the Bears have to hit on a franchise QB one of these times right?

yeah I think it is completely up in the air right now. I am not going to pass judgement on him based on anything in training camp. But this season will tell the tale.

I don't even think this season will tell the tale, unless he comes out this season and is just completely Todd Collins/Mike Glennon awful. Yes you need to see improvements, but he isn't going to be a finished product for a while. The guy has played 25 games since he graduated high school. It is going to take some time.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. He clearly has difficulty throwing from the pocket. Hopefully he will improve rapidly.

Oh no doubt if he is good. I mean more from the standpoint of this season will tell the tale on if he sucks.

Yeah I am not going to start making excuses already but all good QBs are sitting back there just picking apart secondaries.

Is that a serious question?

Completely agree. Throw in the change of offense and completely new receiving corps and I think training camp errors should be expected and encouraged. Nagy wants him to take those shots instead of dumping it off for 5 yards.

its not that cut and dry.... some undrafted 5'10" white WR shows well (braverman, mike hass) against 4th string competition would fall in to the doesnt matter category.
