That was my complaint, they had no "sight seeing" rides like Disney
with the Jungle Safari or Pirates of the Caribbean. They could have done
it on a smaller scale but it's basically coasters and merry go rounds.

I didn't think that was that hard to comprehend. I enjoy the sightseeing shit, not the coasters that are going to make me throw up my 5 dollar hot dog I just ate.

5 bucks for a hot dog

It has been a while since you've been there...

I guess Ill just do the rides. When I do them at Indiana beach, if they are spinning type ones, Im kinda done after like 3, but then again Im usually a few drinks in too.

Skip the bulk of the flat rides. Do the coasters.

Goliath
Raging Bull
Eagle
Viper
XFlight
Superman
Batman
V2
...Demon only if you have a surplus of time and want a nap that also includes a broken neck.

Yeah for being old and short, Batman is still an all timer. I like Viper more than Eagle, and as someone else said Raging Bull is one of my favorite rides ever.

Goliath is my favorite Great America ride. Batman, XFlight, Superman and Raging Bull are up there also.

I hope Great America gets a 4D coaster like X2 at Magic Mountain.

All of those are great rides.

I have stopped going on demon. Bangs you around way too much and always get a headache. I am kind of surprised they havent got rid of it by now.

Raging Bull, Batman, Viper, Demon in that order.

I like the Eagle, but the height of the car walls sit right at the bottom of my shoulder blades, and it tends to fuck my back up a bit.

My daughter is just tall enough for the Whizzer, she has no patience for the wait on the Little Dipper, and she loves the Sprocket Rocket in the kids area...likes to sit in the front car. She also loves the spinning rides (Octopus, Hometown Fun Machine, Teacups).

Raging Bull is the truth. Its rare to have a ride that no one is ever disappointed by and Raging Bull is it.

IMU, what about The Joker? You done that one? We watched a video of that one not too long ago and want to ride it next time we are up there.

I'm not exempting myself from this observation, but this thread reads like the reader feedback section of a nursing home newsletter.

It was under maintenance when I was there recently, so I didn't go on it. Lines were long the other times, since it is so new.

I have gone on Green Lantern at Magic Mountain though, which is essentially the same thing. The ride is fine if the line is short. But a long line for such a short ride doesn't thrill me. I skip V2 sometimes because of this.

Yup. Sometimes I feel bad doing it, but Leash is pushing me to be more confrontational.

If you start feeling the need to punch FF then Leash is really pushing you

The Joker is weird. The seat flips around so you can't ever orient yourself. It was a little jerky for the head and neck.

The Demon used to be my favorite ride but that bangs my head around now too much.

4D coasters are hit and miss. X2 in California is amazing, but The Joker and Green Lantern: First Flight ... I experienced what you did. Not my favorite rides.

Christ, we waited in line for what must have been 2 hours when that thing was first opened. A colossal disappointment.

going tomorrow night for some private event that isn't that private but private enough that lines are very short

I've got nothing on the plate for Saturday morning so I'm thinking I'll go the extra mile to Milwaukee and grab some Kopps afterward
