As far as I'm concerned, the rebuild is over. It's now a build. I've had enough of guys who won't be around for contention. Take Covey and Davidson and DFA them. Now. There's no point to them and we're locked in for the #3 pick anyway

It really isn't. At this point in this horrible season, it is encouraging to get closer to moving up a spot in the draft.

So next year if both of those guys are still in the minors and the Sox start out 8-20 in April, should they keep them down again to keep building for draft picks?

If the queen had stones she'd be king.

So is that yes to keep them down all of 2019 if the Sox start bad again? If they are not up this year, they wont be up on opening day next year.

Except this is Eloy's 5th year in the minors. Bryant had 2. Ethically, IMO, Hahn would be fucking him waiting until late April or early May or whatever the date is and would be sending a terrible message to every player in the org.

We'd all like to have that extra year but...

 Fuck you, Timmy. Can't even get a runner home from 3rd with an average fly ball. What a waste of an at bat.

Clown shoes managing this one like it’s the 7th game of the World Series. Gotta work hard to avoid being swept at home by the 2nd worst team in baseball.

Would have been a hellava catch, but Engel horribly mis-timed his jump.

Another solid outing from Lopez wasted.

I have no idea what the Rays are trying to do. They trade old guys for young guys, young guys for young guys and young guys for old guys. They haves Billy Beane syndrome of always trying to stay ahead of something that isn’t there.

if he keep trying to be like them in here we’ll continue to get beat by them out there.

 Or tell jerkoff Minaya to actually look at the runners and maybe throw to a base so the opposing team isn't running wild.

Ricky pushing the right buttons ot of the pen! Maybe if Ventura knew how to use a bullpen, he'd still have a job.
