They were no real punches. A little jab or two and it was over and done. I just don't respect someone who comes on here and does a total 180. Mult posts that are done in jest is one thing. Pretending to be something or somebody you're not is a different ballgame. I have no respect for people who are phony like that.

I don't believe those are haymakers. Leash and I had a PM exchange and I told him just that. I was a fan of his when he were merely an "IDIOT FREIND" and posted more sports. He claims he has changed, so I guess that is that.

I don't think leash has ever pretended he's something he's not or come across as phony.

I have. How is he pretending to be something he's not or acting phony?

I don't think anyone hates you, BRick. I think people simply have a different severity of eye rolls that they give your fourth-grade arguments.

I doubt it. Did he say he does? I think he just gets frustrated with you. He's probably the only one.

Well, he didn't like my thoughts on Bernie, and he doesn't like my thoughts on Trump, so I'm not sure what to do.

Well, he didn't like my thoughts on Bernie, and he doesn't like my thoughts on Trump, so I'm not sure what to do.

But the inverse of that is true also. You didn't like his thoughts on Bernie and you don't like his thoughts on Trump. It's almost as if you two just like to argue. (I do too so this isn't meant as a shot).

His last few interactions with me gave me some insights, but who knows what is in his heart?

BRick is fairly consistent in his thoughts. Even when I disagree with him I always understand the point he's making. He takes a lot of incoming fire from just about every poster but rarely returns it. Very underrated poster.

Maybe that isn't accurate. I've seen some of the shots he's taken and would have exploded but his response was kind of tame.

My own read on Leash lately (and I have not personally communicated with him about it in a while) is he is genuine in his feelings even if the delivery seems to be a over the top bit.

Maybe it is hard to do here but I thought he was trying to encourage or maybe even save the ability to have and discuss alternate points of view. Sometimes on tough issues that is a tough job.

In many instances he was just as guilty of being closed minded as the people he criticized. Each topic invariably ended in "because you don't agree with it" or "I will be considered a racist". Those are tactics designed to stifle discussions and that doesn't even get to his rampant use of generalizations where they hadn't previously been used.

Rather than making presumptions about what people might be thinking simply respond to what it is that they happen to say.

I think that being obstinate was the bit part trying to show some their own obstinance.

I always had trouble dissecting when he was being serious and when he wasn't. Leash has always enjoyed hard trolling by acting super serious just to rile people up. In real life, Leash is a reasonable guy, so I have to think he is just trying to create "content" around here.

Trump has pushed a lot of people to extremes. That's all it is. It makes those who don't do the same into the enemy and it makes for interesting allies in the fight.

Leash is suffering from PTSD due to his membership in society's most persecuted demographic--the straight white male.

He is pushing very specific buttons and even got after me for not being argumentative. He enjoys needling at people. If I needed help from someone on this board, he would be one of the first five calls I made. And most of you folks are very good individuals despite all our differences and board fights.

BRick is right too in that Trump has brought out a lot of extremes and raw emotions. I have had a few real life people get mad at me for being so anti-Trump.

Who are the other four people you'd call for help?
