Barr is a Bear? Didn't Hundley beat the bears twice last year?

I went to the game last night. Pack looks pretty solid with two exceptions. They have no idea what covering a TE is and they have no o-line depth. When they got wind of the bears wanting to draft Spriggs they should have immediately gone in another direction instead of trading for him. That guy fucking sucks.

Long season for you. I expect 6, maybe 8 wins out of my team. You are calling your team Super Bowl contenders when they likely will not be playing after Wild Card weekend if they even make it that far.

Every year you predict them to miss the playoffs and 8 of the last 10 years you have been wrong.

Look up the odds. They are objectively super bowl contenders. Not my opinion.

I work in Milwaukee. You all have no idea how much better the world is when Rodgers is hurt and the Packers are bad. The fans are just nauseating when the Packers are good.

Case in point....a female co-worker, who is also an Illinois native once said to me, "I really never cared about football or the Bears....until I started working here."

Maybe try to tell them they have been great as long as the Patriots and needed two QBs rather than one and have less hardware to show for it.

It really is amazing the extent to which the Packers have squandered transcendent quarterback talent over the past 20+ years.

I don't think so. Brady just re-calibrated everyone's expectations from 10+ years ago. It's really hard to win a Super Bowl. 2 Super Bowl wins over the span of 15 years is not an insignificant accomplishment.

I think McCarthy is a bum coach and I think they've underachieved slightly with him, but I think saying it's amazing or embarrassing or whatever is a gross exaggeration.

Isn't Rodgers supposed to be on the level of Brady though?

You missed the point. She is now a Bears fan.

No, he's not. There is also a massive difference in head coaches, which is often overlooked in these discussions.

McCarthy has totally squandered Rodgers. You think the coaches the Bears have had in the Rodgers era, Lovie, Trestman and Fox, two of those three are better than McCarthy. The Packers with Lovie probably have another ring. The Packers are terribly run but in the NFL if you've got the QB it makes all the difference.

You just got on somebody for making excuses for Mitch, and then you post this crap?

Yes, it's hard to win one Super Bowl. when you start the season with one of the best quarterbacks ever, it makes it that much easier.

This post doesn't make any sense. There's no excuse making there, just truthful statements, unlike "This is Mitch's rookie year."

John Fox was too busy trying to win every play of meaningless games to develop a 1.2 pick. That and Loggains flat did not belong.
