At first I was a little surprised at how nonchalant the ATC and pilots they brought in to guide the guy were. They didn't seem too desperate for him to avert killing himself. I chalked this up to typical pilot aspie behavior but I think they let this guy down to avoid him fucking up a landing and hurting people on the ground.
