I'll be in Wrigleyville around 5 if anyone wants to meet up. Typically we go to Bernie's because they have some space and a nice beer garden but we're up for anywhere except for the unbelievably packed Cubby Bear.

I was never much of a Pearl Jam fan until fairly recently. I fell down a YouTube rabbit hole and started watching a lot of their concert footage. Would definitely like to catch them live sometime, especially at Wrigley.

a) Jesus H. Christ, you are ancient

b) Saw them at Lollapalooza in '92 (I think? Maybe '93). Was trippin' balls. Friend got us seats in a skybox. Not a PJ fan, but I loved them that day. Couldn't tell you what they played except "Even Flow" and I swear they played "Release Me," but that might be because I think that's their best song. Laughed for twelve hours straight.

c) Frank, you gotta take one for the team....

I am so far removed from my active Pearl Jam fandom that I would not even know many of those songs on the set list from Wrigley.

Same here.....

Still listen to Eddie Vedder's soundtrack of Into the Wild, though. In my top 100. Book and soundtrack.

I got pretty fuckin hammered, by the end of the show, I was starving. Bought a Hamburger. It was good...then I dropped it during Yellow Ledbetter....so that's a song of Hamburger regret for me now.

I haven't seen them since 1995. Was a good show and I still have the concert poster which I had framed and matted a few years ago.
Not sure how I kept it in good shape all those years. The first Ames Bros poster. Anyway this was the set list which was probably
pretty standard back then with only a couple albums out. Notable items about the show were that this was the tour where they tried to
take on Ticketmaster and sell the tickets through another outlet and keep it affordable for the fan. Also the only time they have ever
played Forever in Blue Jeans by Neil Diamond. Kind of a neat performance as they had a Neil Diamond impersonator singing along
on stage.

I’m bailing on tonight. Forecast looks like 2013, only worse. Not dealing with this on a Monday.

Because they communicated so well back in 2013

Good luck to anyone going!

Did Vedder really throw a guy out because he didn't like his sign? It's funny that people who hate Trump so much act just like him when they have the power.

I dont think so. He made fun of the guy and laughed at him because they played the song he was requesting last time they played at Wrigley.

With this post, the transition is now complete. This board has officially become the comment section of a Yahoo News item.

I feel like I am on a lifelong quest not unlike the Holy Grail. When I can see PJ live and actually understand the words to Ledbetter my life will be complete.

I ended up going to the Monday show. The hour and a half delay sucked. Up to the first encore, the sound really sucked. I'm not sure if it was wind blowing the speakers or what. That said, it was probably in the top three shows I've attended.

Given to Fly
Why Go
Go
Last Exit
Mind Your Manners
Do the Evolution
Rain
(The Beatles cover)
Throw Your Hatred Down
(Neil Young cover)
Even Flow
U
(first performance since 2014)
In My Tree
Immortality
Daughter
(with "It's Ok" tag)
Unthought Known
Jeremy
I Am a Patriot
(Little Steven cover)
Lukin
Porch
Encore:
We're Going to Be Friends
(The White Stripes cover)
Come Back
Corduroy
Black
Lightning Bolt
Rearviewmirror
Smile
Evil Little Goat
(live debut)
Leash
Alive
Baba O'Riley

This may be of interest to some.

Quote:
Pearl Jam will offer a free video stream of the band’s 2010 Hard Rock Calling Festival (Hyde Park, London) concert, in support of their 2009 release, Backspacer.

The stream will run from Friday, April 2nd at 8 PM ET through Monday, April 5th at 11:59 PM ET on Pearl Jam’s YouTube and Facebook as well as on nugs.net. There will be no cost to stream this performance.

This 27-song show was professionally filmed by the Hard Rock Calling crew and the audio was remixed by Gigaton producer, Josh Evans. “Red Mosquito” features guest Ben Harper on slide guitar

Eddie Vedder solo tonite at the Auditorium Theatre. An exceptionally cool venue, great acoustics.

Face value tickets were like $175ea and when I got my Ten Club email I was like FUCK that. The prices have completely bottomed out on the secondary market, so I just grabbed two in the upper balcony for $40ea. Pretty stoked!

If anyone is interested, there's quite a few tickets available for <$50-$60
