Nope. Mitch isn’t good enough to beat Rodgers. Your window won’t start before 2022 and it most likely won’t be with Mitch at the helm.

The age of Rodgers is over. You know this. Dont worry they'll find someone to replace him, they always do.

Here we go again with the excuse making for our QB throwing to a clearly covered Tarik Cohen. Even if he ran the wrong route, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky needs to recognize that and have the discipline to throw to another target.

Agreed. That was a bad throw. But.. the preseason is the place to make dumb mistakes like that so you can work on ironing that type of stuff out. Hopefully..

Biggest issues I have watching the Bears so far this PS are: the O-line doesn’t look good and our pass rush only has a slight pulse.

I think it’s gonna be another long year. I’m seeing 4-6 wins max for this team. And that should be inexcusable at this point in a rebuild.

My concern at this point is the lack of production from the WR position.

There are series when I’m not sure any WRs are lining up.

They are holding Robinson out and they got Miller. They are fine at WR.

I'm a bit annoyed with Pace sitting on 26 million in cap space. To me he's going for the "Long play" assuming Mitch is the goods at QB..even if he is...that's the wrong move. The Seahawks were the most dangerous when Russell Wilson was making peanuts on this rookie deal. That's when you have to be the most aggressive with your roster.

It might be good practice for the QB to throw to one every once in a while, regardless of their name.

Miller's been the goods. Can't make a judgement on AR till he plays. Gabriel is a bit concerning..is he on the roster?

I like Miller. I'm commenting more on the target frequency from the QBs.

Can't tell if it is system-related or personnel-related.

A guy who saves money like this...you can see why he got his big extension from the Bears (((upper management))) despite not doing shit on the field.

I think it’s more system related atm -Burton has been lined up as a WR on some of his bigger catches. Speaking of him, I’m liking the kid so far. He looks like a good pick up for the Bear.

I also think some of this is a result of Nagy not wanting to give too much away during pre season. They have been taking shots downfield tho, which is exposing Mitch’s lack of deep ball ability a little. But scouts have said all along that this is a weak spot for him coming out of college so it’s not a news flash or anything like that.

Especially considering the amount if money Pace has pissed away with nothing to show for it.

What are the odds that Floyd and White both miss at least 5 games this season?

I missed most of the first half; did Smith play?

I thought the Bears looked ok. There was improvement in Mitch's play. He's got some receiver options. The play calling was better.

I give them a B.

I think they are generally willing to cut bait on guys but White is special to them and they will give him this last chance. Then he'll snap something week 1 and it'll be like he got cut anyways.

Zero cap space back by cutting White. He's on the team for this year!

Honestly, they are deeper than they have been in a long time. The roster spot is worth more than any theoretical cap space may be. Aaron Lynch may not make it either, which only makes the need for a pass rusher more desperate.

To which Pace will be oblivious to all year. Our OLB’s this year are our WR’s from last year... when it reaches a boiling point, Pace does fix it it seems, so he has that ability. But something he can fix, often he just lets go, like he has a minor mental disability or something. He did go to EIU.

I didn't realize how bad it was until now. Average-ish CB's + a mediocre-if-not-bad pass rush is not a recipe for success.

No chance. They're going all out giving him one last chance this year. He will probably stupidly outsnap Miller while healthy.

He hasn't shown anything that makes me believe that he will be a good NFL player.

Everyone except for Ryan Pace agrees with you.
