He'll repeat Birmingham next year, hopefully with his confidence back. He was about to fall off the face of there for a second. His shine his totally gone, he's barely in the top 30 right now, but a good month or two and he'll be right back where he was. Lost year of development.

I think he called Kopech up, because of the pressure from the fan base.

The very encouraging aspect of Eloy is that he doesn't strike out. That's the big indicator for me. He is massive strong with a monster swing but only k's like 10% of the time. Guys like that don't fail. Him and Guerrero Jr. are both like this.

If you have a player that when he makes contact makes extemely hard contact thats a great thing. If that same player also makes a lot of contact it's even better and also very rare. Eloy and Vlad Jr are unique. They are different than guys of the past 5 or so years. They will be competing with Trout for MVP awards for a very long time. I would be shocked at any other outcome.
