Long time south side staple...although I preferred this location when it was The Lions Head Ale House. (Both were owned by the late great Charlie Orr).

I preferred his old spot on 107th & Western before his divorce. Was more of a hangout kind of joint. Plus I would help taste test for him every blue moon.

That sucks -- I liked that place a lot -- glad they are rebuilding. Food was always a solid hit, and they had a good beer selection.

Made jambalaya and corn muffins fore the first time in a year tonight in honor of the place. And then got lucky and discovered that Skyfall was on.

An underappreciated Bond classic imo.

And the Sox game. Time for another rhum and glorious sleep since tomorrow has a late start for me. :D
