I have been a fan of everything I've seen from Bears rookie head coach Matt Nagy, but there are no circumstances under which the decision to not play starters, particularly (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky vs. the Chiefs makes sense. I continue to be a Nagy fan, this is one decision, but it's a bad one.

Well...that’s one way not to give the Packers any tape to study. Nagy is treating these guys like they were in the Super Bowl last year. If this backfires on him Sunday night in Green Bay, the honeymoon will be extremely short.

Does anyone actually believe that they have a chance at Lambeau?

Anyone watch the Browns and Eagles? It was terrible. I think the time is coming where you won't see most starters at all for preseason games. The starters get the most practice time during the week. Let the people trying to make the team play these games.

I can accept a competitive loss in Green Bay...but if the defense gets their doors blown off and the offense looks like they have never seen a football before, Nagy should be barbecued Sunday night after the game...though it won’t happened because the Chicago media is soft as Charmin.

Seriously this is a decision that only looks genius if they don't make it. Nobody can get hurt this way. Very on board with this.

The Chiefs know the offense. No need to cause any unnecessary issues. They'll be ready for the Packers. I trust Nagy. Let the guys fighting for spots play.

There is nothing dumber than risking injury to important players in a meaningless game. Especially when the entire reason the preseason still exists is because it makes gobs of money for the league. Week one is literally 14 days away. Just be patient.

There is no actual football value of preseason games. It doesnt make anyone any better.

They should really have Canellis stand on something when he does postgame with Corey Wootton. He's so much smaller than Wootton and has to crane his neck so much to look at him that it looks ridiculous.
