Nestle Drumsticks, Dove Bars and Magnum Bars are solid contenders along with the Choco Taco.

The answer is Snickers Ice Cream Bar.

Next question.

All are good for the most part as long as it is real ice cream. I like sandwiches of various forms especially with cookies and the holder. Plain old sandwiches overall. I will try anything saying Reese's on it once.

Those are so underrated.

Chocolate-covered bananas = my favorite.

Pretty good. My dad loved them so we would have them in the 70s.

I like T-Bone's selection in addition to a Good Humor strawberry shortcake. Ben and Jerry's used to make an awesome fudge brownie ice cream sandwich, but alas, that product was discontinued years ago.

The chocolate eclair version of the Good Humor is pretty good too. Fan of the heath ice cream bar as well.

Cannot agree with this more. I was hungry for a snack a couple weeks back and found a box of these in the freezer and tried one. Damn nice surprise, and I don't even like regular Snickers bars.

Back in the day the brand was "Newlyweds". Cake roll topped with a drizzle of Hershey's syrup...yum!

Hank & T-Bone got it right ... either one of those works.

Then again, I do have a thing for a good Drumstick.

There's your three, Mini Ditka.

Chocolate Eclair Good Humor - more nostalgic, reminds me of my grandmother's neighborhood in Cicero in the early 70s, minus the mob wannabees down the street

Dark Chocolate Magnum or Dark Chocolate Klondike (basically the same thing but in different form factors)

Twix Ice Cream Bar (the Snickers is probably better but I can't eat peanuts) - best thing from the Speedway near my house

Best novelty? How about the $4.99 "regular" prices they list for 1.5L of Breyer's/Dean's/Etc. that alternate being on sale for $3 or less every week.

Or how some of us still have the wrong habit of calling them half gallons?

Someone is grumpy that their ice cream intake has been reduced!

  No, I eat maybe 3-4 spoonfuls maybe once a month. But when you have a wife & sons that crush it, and you're the one always at the Jewel's buying the crap, you tend to notice certain things.

Did everyone forget the rich creaminess of a Klondike Bar?

I actually bought some of these last night in the futile hope that having a smaller portion individually wrapped would stop me from eating
a big bowl of the stuff a few times a week.

You ate the whole box while your stepson just sat and watched because he wanted fruit or something, didn't you?

I’ve made that mistake. No will power when it comes to ice cream but my kids tend to do a good job of keeping the freezer ice cream free most days.

Really? Never had a problem with ice cream. Its not that I don't like it, I just don't have it all that often and a carton of it could sit in the freezer for weeks.

Now potato chips on the other hand rarely last longer than 48 hours in my house.

I'm a little concerned that the Jello Pudding Pops will never come back because they will forever be associated with Bill Cosby.

Another vote for Good Humor's Strawberry Shortcake or Chocolate Eclair bars.
