Right now a 5 at best. I'm excited for the future, but not so much this season. For the first couple of games it will be a 9 or a 10, but there are some games where it will be a 1 or a 2.

I'm at about an 8. The only preseason action I have seen was the first half this past Saturday. I really have no idea what to expect from the
actual starters. I do believe they hired the right coach and have a lot of good pieces. I don't like starting the season against the Packers but
if there was a time to catch them with some play calling and such it would be week one. My level is also at an 8 because I will be following
the Cubs hopefully through hopefully well into October.

It feels like this may be the start of something special. But the Bears have been so injury plagued the last few years that I have trouble getting too optimistic. Also, the offensive line is a major concern. But above all else, Mitch is going to have to be really good for the Bears to utlimately be a contender. I can’t buy into that yet.

On saturday my son and I were out to lunch and the game was coming on. I knew it was pre-season but I found myself wanting to watch some of the game....I even knew it was pre-season.

But if it quickly turns into the disaster I think it will be then I won’t be paying much attention to them this year. As is I’ve turned off games well before halftime these past few seasons -something I never did during the Ditka/Wany/Lovie years. I could see another year of that going on if I’m not at least seeing some progress.

Still don't know if Mitch is good, haven't seen Smith play yet, Floyd is injury prone, and need to see if Fuller's season last year was real or a fluke. This is still probably a .500 team at best. Packers probably win by 10+ on Sunday.

I have been a big skeptic for a lot of years about the Bears but the addition of Mack should make the Bears a top five defense by making a lot of players on the defense more productive. So right now, I am a solid 7 over-all. Still have doubts about the offensive line.

If you aren't excited over the next year to two years, you aren't a real fan. I have all the optimism in the world right now including a new coach, a developing QB and a potentially great defense. 10+
