I would love to go through the time and effort of organizing a game with people coming from all over, and play basketball in a thunderstorm (or even snowstorm at this point). Not to mention that if it's a nice day, finding an open court somewhere...

Nothing like shoveling off a half court blacktop to play some ball. Those were the days. I'd play in the rain, i've played in worse.

I am out in the burbs for a wedding on the 17th, good chance I can make this if you don't mind a hung over out of shape M_C. I will keep an eye on this thread to see if it comes to fruition.

Well, the Evanston gym is out for the 18th now. They had a large wedding party book it and pay up front.

Any other suggestions for places?

Im up for whatever location. I know a couple places in Hoffman and Schaumburg we could get, but I doubt it would be convenient for the majority. Like Killer V said, does anyone have any suggestions for a gym? Im guessing theres a good chance we could play outdoors if not.

The Westchester gym is out.

The forecast looks like 58 degrees with potential thunderstorms for Sunday, so most likely, no gym, no play...
