Now they’re reporting the waiver period already expired. Damn. That would have been fun.

Crazy game. I think it is safe to say that it is not the Nats year

Their pitching stinks. That lineup is really good. I think they white flagged the year already anyway

The Nats are having a fire sale. Murphy and Adams are out. Who’s next. Gio?? Bryce?? That would be unbelievable.

Now there's a report the Dodgers have claimed Bryce. That would be freakin awesome. Machado and Harper in the same lineup with Kershaw on the mound. Good lord.

So, why does that franchise produce so much anger?

I actually thought Martinez would be an excellent manager, given everything I heard about him. I'm starting to think the problem is the GM. I love the fact that he's a local guy, but he shuts down Strasburg one year, hires loser managers, and it seems like every player that leaves there is a headcase.

I heard ownership likes to meddle in baseball decisions so the blame could fall on them.

I think people in the know still have a bad taste in their mouths about how the Nationals came into existence

I’m glad I locked in the Cardinals at +450 in the bottom of the 7th. Only down 1 run. Bovada watched this Dodger bullpen the last couple nights?

Acuna hit another home run against the Marlins. That makes him 13-24 (.542) with 7 HR in his last 7 games against them.

Hit him again!

Borucki is throwing it good against the Phillies. He’s had a couple rough starts so it’s good to see him bounce back with a good one against a quality team.

They did and the Braves responded by hitting a Marlin

I don’t think that one was intentional. Just a bad pitch that got away from a bad pitcher.

Looks like Cutchy might be on his way to NY. The Yanks definitely need some kind of spark. They looked pathetic against the Sox.

They do but he's still owed 3m this year; money plays a factor in the process

Sure, but I shouldn't think that the teams that would potentially want him would be wringing their hands at the thought of $3mil. Maybe they do/did, I of course don't know, but it just seems such a relatively paltry sum to be concerned about.

He's not that good. I don't think anyone was worried that the Yanks might pick him up as a bench bat.

Dude is washed up

Dude was .255/.357/.415 in a tough place to hit. Now he's going to a hitters paradise. I think Dude's a good pickup.
