Thought there was value at +290!

I got +260. I’d place the bet a million times over again. I didn’t know Nagy was bipolar.

Good point on how Mitch can't throw going to his left

1st drive: 86 yards, 7 points.
Rest of the game: 202 yards, 6 points.

Offense needed to do more.

I can't believe how pissed I am. This could have been a week 1 tone setter game for the season. Fucking ridiculous.

If your 2nd year QB (who is still a giant question mark) is that much of a constipating factor then there are things you can do to pick up small chunks in the passing game and Nagy did that exactly once. The shallow cross route that Allen Robinson ran just after the Mathews roughing penalty is essentially undefendable. Especially with the WRs and TE the Bears have now. The Packers themselves do a lot of that.

Or just run the ball down their throat. Jordan Howard has to be legitimately questioning how he can be into his second coaching group that just refuses to let him win games.

And if you have that many questions about your passing game then what they did in the preseason is fucking STUPID.

That's not that uncommon. I'm more concerned with him throwing the ball high every time he feels pressure... he has to calm down a little.

Yes. The 1st half missed TD to Robinson was waaaay overthrown and he had time.

They ran out of gas but I'm encouraged by what I saw all around with the exception of bum ass Kyle Fuller.

At least Nagy kind of admitted he needs to look in the mirror.

A couple other things... Whitehair has to be better snapping in shotgun -- can't deal with that for the rest of the year. Nobody fell for Rodgers false cadences which shows a good mental commitment to the game, that's a positive for sure. The pass playcalling or reads by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has to be more aggressive -- can't check down to a 5 yard pass every play or else the D starts playing up and it kills your run game as well. Play communication has to improve -- can't take two timeouts in the first quarter going forward or it will burn you at the end of half/game eventually.

Agree that was encouraging to hear.

Not running it on 3rd and 1 was a huge mistake. Even if the call was a pass, you have to throw a RB there in the backfield. Don’t go fucking shotgun. Maybe he just got caught up in the moment??

It’s his first game as a head coach. Gotta think he’s going to go over the film a hundred times and over analyze everything. Hopefully he learns and improves. I’ve been mostly impressed with him.

Can't wait for Parkins to defend his boy Nagy tomorrow. Between Nagy and Fuller, you have the main culprits in this joke job. Mitch looks suspect as well, but that gets forgotten because of the other 2 dopes.

I guess this is really Mitch's first 'real' year.

It's the HC's first 'real' year.

He's the same guy who fucking was calling plays for kc last year when they pissed away a huge second half lead against Titans. That 3rd and 1 was just dumb. Fucking run it two times.

i didnt see one bears game last year.

this is the first time i've watched the bears in like 5-8 years. A long time.

The QB issue wasn't the talent, but the lack of poise.

That' last drive they had so much time and 2 time outs, they could have even run the ball a few times just to get in fg range.

But the QB played so nervous and just chucked the ball all over the place.

It was not a good view.

Still don't get that. You would think Nagy would have learned his lesson after the Chiefs abandoned the run after the Titans loss.

I could squint and maybe accept the pass on 3rd and 1 before the field goal if they hadn't passed for no gain out of the shotgun on 3rd and 1 literally the drive before. And both failed 3rd and 1s were preceded by Howard running for positive yards and then heading to the sideline.

Packers were pretty good at stopping the run when they knew Howard was coming.

I was more concerned with Mitch air-mailing passes to wide open receivers: Robinson in the end zone in the 1st, Cohen in the flat in the 4th.

Was it confirmed that Nagy called the ENTIRE game last year against the Titans? I thought he helped Reid draw up the first 15 plays before the game. Wonder if Nagy did that tonight. The opening drive was terrific.
