huh? are you mixing up snellzilla with glasnever (glasnow) ?? glasnow is the guy who came over to the rays from the pirates in the archer deal.

snell came up with the rays and was always prone to walk a lot of guys. their post-maddon manager (cash?) would occasionally yank him at like 2 2/3 IP with 2-3+ ER because his walks got up there. he had his moments like, IIRC, a 7IP 0ER 9K game against the marlins a year or two ago, but this year he seems to have put it all together. the stuff was always there but it was just a matter of pitching his game.
