Pat Shurmer is an idiot for accepting that penalty.

I completely agree. But I still don't know if Barkley still wasn't the correct pick.

It's only been a couple of weeks but I agree

He may be in a cement enclosure by the end of the year. At least he went out on his terms.

Eli is done. I'm surprised they cut bait on that Davis guy. I thought he was their next starter.

Obviously Eli is past prime but this teams problems are 100% o-line. This is what your team looks like when you decide to NOT pay any of your best linemen, let them walk, and decide to use terrible journeymen and unproven rookies that can’t pass or run block. Their defense will keep them in games.

Bringing in the Seahawks Dbacks coach helped. Marinelli's still there as DC, but he's always been more of a front 7 coach. Richard/the Seahawks ex-dbacks coach will likely take over as DC once Marinelli retires. He could have a future as a head coach.

Giants try an onside kick...and it worked.

The Sunday Night game was a tough watch. Lots of bad going on in the NFL, again. Texans were brutal again. The Patriots and Gronk were shit. The Vikings kicker should be cut tonight. Redskins and Eagles losing to shit teams.

Outside of the Sunday night game there was some good football today. A couple of surprises.

It'll never stop. Cowboys vs <NFC East rival> is the whole reason SNF exists. I think they have three more SNF games this year and one MNF (plus the obligatory TNF). Maybe they'll get flexed out of one, but the East really seems to have taken a step back and until Wentz comes back the Cowboys will likely be in contention for the division, and I seriously doubt NBC will flex out a Cowboys team that is still in contention.

Competition breeds success, Winston will become a better player from this.

McAdoo was a visionary.....the fans didn't like the benching of Eli...….somewhere McAdoo is chuckling to himself

I still strongly suspect the biggest reason for the Bucs' improvement so far is Koetter not calling the plays.

Everyone says that's a big reason, but Fitzpatrick also seemingly has all damn day to throw the ball in every clip I've seen so far. Their line must be pretty damn good.

Virtually every receiver & Howard are at least a full step ahead of the coverage, and Mike Evans only needs a half step to out muscle/leap his coverage.

A lot of that has to do with the play caller imo.
