Speaking of, thanks to RedZone, I found out that Robbie Gould is still playing ... out in San Fran.

Not only is he still playing there, he's made 29 field goals in a row.

Pffft ... is that all?

I like the theme of the Bears beating the beard off of the Seahawks ... so long as they play both halves in this game. 46-10.

Bears win, but do not cover 4.5 or more thanks to a very late Seattle TD to get it to 4.

Mack will apparently be mic'ed up for the game tonight.

Seems like the kind of fella that uses the occasional naughty word or two.

I have zero confidence in this team after last week. This vaunted defense sucks. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky can't see an open man if his life depended on it.

I can't believe I let these jamokes back into my heart.

The defense is going to be great. Minnesota has a great defense and gave up more points to GB

To be fair, Minnesota didn't get nearly a full quarter of Deshone Kizer.

That's not a great defense. They're secondary is their Achille's Heel.

We are overreacting to 1 game here. They were great against Rodgers in the 1st half before Fangio shit himself and Mack got tired. The defense will be top 5

Minnesota has an awesome secondary. What are you talking about? Not a fan of Rhodes and Smith?

This also doesn't make sense. Don't you have to give credit to the defense for being physical and knocking Rodgers out? You also basically had "1 drive" of Kizer.

2 drives and 2 turnovers for Kizer. Generous of him to hand the ball to Mack on that one play though.

So give the Packers 1 more TD assuming Kizer never plays. That's still about on par with Minny's performance against the Packers, defensively.

You don't have to convince me. I think it's obvious the Bears are going to have a great defense this season. Need them to destroy Wilson tonight.

I am more worried about Nagy's playing calling this game than in the last game, because of the increased pressure he'll be under. I suspect his play calling will be conservative, and that's going to cut down on the amount of potential big plays. He'll probably try to run the ball more to protect (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, and Seattle will respond by stuffing the box. Seattle will bring all sorts of pressure against (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, corner and safety blitzes, you name it. If (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky doesn't fumble the ball, he's going to be hurrying his throws, where they will come out like wounded ducks. Expect a pick or two from SEA, maybe even one in the red zone. The Bears will keep it very close on defense and may even score.

Hate to be negative about a home game, but it looks like

Seattle 24, Bears 20

Wilson will find a way and make some plays late in an otherwise sloppy but close game. Our defense will look good but come up short late in the game due to turnovers wearing them out.

Just saw some hot chick named Jen Lada on the ESPN pre-game.
I feel like I've seen her name before, but I have no idea who she is, other than she's smokin'.

jen lada and adam hoge did some important radio (filling in for kap & haugh) in the wake of bernstein tweeting that he liked some sportscaster chick's boobs back in 2015. prior to that i think dan was in her fan club (quite possibly because of just aesthetics) and therefore she got mentioned on air, likely in some sort of bernsteinian version of laurence's old "chicks on the new network TV shows who could get it" staple.

does it make me a shitlord to say that i miss that "real" version of laurence?

If Mitch struggles again against a depleted defense I will be worried.

He needs a big game and the Bears need a big win for faith to be restored after last week.
