It's why the hapless gm shouldn't have drafted him.

Yeah.. Dumb bear fans sing that tune like it's a badge of honor. He wasn't good enough to secure an NC state starting role.

He was a 1st round pick on every draft board. Only behind Kizer and Watson.

Which goes to show the uselessness of draft boards...Kizer is atrocious.

I was so glad they didn't get Kizer. I saw enough of him at ND.

Mitch is an enigma because of his lack of college experience. He obviously has the mobility to keep plays alive. I still question his arm strength and play recognition. He has a long way to go. I was very disappointed in his deep route throw where he under threw the ball by a country mile. I would have rather seen a 10 yard over throw.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky did okay in my book. Yes he had some bad throws but he also made some good ones and has shown a good ability to run for yardage when necessary. I think his inexperience is what is hurting him in that he looks hesitant to release the ball and the throw ends up being late to the target.

I have yet to see anything that warrants the position the Bears drafted Mitch.
I have seen more upside than Rex in that he's at least tall enough to be an NFL QB.
I like his mobility.
I don't think he's going to be terrible, but we have a long way to go before we can confidently say he's any good.

What I really hate, is that he's running a John Shoop type offense. In 2 games, I'm very doubtful Matt Nagy is a legit head coach.

I want to believe he'll be good one day. Don't think he'll ever be great. Seems to get in his own head a bit. Doesn't trust himself. Weak arm. Don't really see any flashes of greatness. I want to be wrong, but the eye test is there. Also, not a fan of the play calling at all.

After a weekend when Blaine Gabbert defeated Deshaun Watson and Blake Bortles topped Tom Brady, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's more than sufficient as a QB for the Bears to succeed in today's NFL. Jared Goff puts up 30+ points week in, week out; not because he's a great QB but because the Rams have a great defense and supporting cast on the offensive side and Goff does exactly what the Rams ask him to do. Sean McVay's play-calling errors on the side of game management yet still dials up enough downfield calls to keep defenses honest--something the Bears need to do more of for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

If they threw it downfield last night they lose. Earl Thomas would've been all over that shit.

Nagy and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky are basically feeling their way in their respective jobs. Personally I think Nagy is too enamored with his bag of tricks. Howard should be given the ball more and Cohen needs to have the ball given to him in space as in the passing game. The one pass thrown to Cohen Monday was missed by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. If he hit him with it, Cohen could have gone all of the way.

I guess I just think that Nagy is not using his running backs talent well enough thus far.
