Fucking weak ass hitters. Amazing how bad they all have looked for 6 straight games.

If Ozuna hits the ball to anybody but the pitcher we probably tie the game. Of course he hits it to the pitcher.

Another great starting performanced pissed away by these cock suckers.

Love Hawk and DJ kept saying the first 2 games were lost because of Crede's errors and game 3 because of the bad call. How about game 4, Hawk? Who will you blame now?

I'm not. We're basically going to be stuck with Dye, Thome and Konerko for next season. I believe Thome is under contract for one more season, Dye signed for 2 years last season, and Konerko still has 2 more seasons after this one.

This offense doesn't have a leadoff hitter, it's an or nothing lineup, and lately it's been all nothing.

There's no quick fix for this mess either. Jerry Owens probably won't be a difference maker, and how do they even get him playing time with Carlos Quentin playing well in LF. I don't see them benching Swisher, Dye or Konerko so unless they rotate those guys with Owens and Quentin, I don't see any major lineup changes.

It's a shame that they can't generate any offense as their pitching has gotten the job done overall, and Clevleand/Detroit continue to struggle so I'm not giving up, but it's very doubtful that this team is anything more than 75-80 win team.

No. I'm not giving up either. Thank God, by the looks of things, the division is weaker than people thought.

I know these bastards are gonna start knocking the ball around soon.

We've got a top 3 pitching staff so far. They've been wasted but if that continues we still have a shot at this division.

Part of me expects the hitting to improve (it has to, right ?), and then our bottom of the rotation to implode.

Well, it that's the case, let's hope the offense is improves on the days the bottom of the rotation pitches.

Hitting never improved last year. Basically the same group, except for Swisher and O.C. Quinten is the only one holding his own. Kenny needs to realize most of these guys are on their last legs, and quit trying to hope for one last career year out of them.

You might be right. If the Sox suck it won't hurt as much as last year. I prepared myself for this reality.

Like I said, the only saving grace is our pitching. That should keep us in this thing.

If this team follows the team of 2007, Kenny Williams has got to go. This team is built like the Cubs in the sense that it's the 3-run homer or nothing.

These fuckers don't bunt, can't steal or manufacture anything. It's pathetic to watch and makes it hard to think they could win the division.

However, I don't think having Rowand back or Pods would make a difference regardless of what Pappy says.

The W-L record doesn't bother me near as much as how they are losing.

I don't think the team is as bad as they've looked the last week. Unfortunately, I don't think they're as good as they were the first couple of weeks either. It's good that Cleveland and Detroit have spun their wheels.

I'm not calling for his firing, but just hoping he wakes up and realizes that this lineup is not getting the job done. I'm still not giving up, but it's frustrating, but I know I've had my thoughts about the middle of that lineup since last season. You can't keep hoping that Thome, Konerko, Dye are going to have great years, and not having guys getting on base in front of them doesn't help.

On the bright side, Orlando Cabrera has been horrible.......and the White Sox have not been able to sign this 33 year old to a long-term deal.

My belief is that Kenny Williams has not built a team for the long haul. I would not consider 2005 an abberation, but the Sox may have just caught lightning in a bottle.

Paulie, Thome and Dye are old and should have been moved years ago. Kenny missed out on landing Fukudome and Torii Hunter but signs Nick Swisher who is not living up to expectations. He also retained Uribe and signed and older Cabrera who is also not living up to expectations.

Kenny has done this all with the attitude like he is the Billy Beane or the Theo Epstein of baseball. The Sox have no team speed and therfore are just a station to station team.

I'm not giving up on the season, but the Sox can't keep playing like this without making some changes.
